I have been wanting to try this restaurant.
I liked the atmosphere. The decor is simple but elegant. They have an outside patio which faces a water fall.
Inside it’s very clean.
Service is top notch. Came for breakfast and had to try their mescal.
No, it’s not too early. In some places in Mexico, it’s typical to have a shot in the morning.
Anyway, the food was exquisite. Very well presented and good portion.

This restaurant is beautiful and a modern style, yet cozy vibe when you walk inside! There are a mix of very cozy couch areas and tables to sit at, including a cozy outdoor seating area. The place has a unique seating layout. Lalo was very inviting and was kind enough to lead us to a seating area that wasn’t near the cold. The tables are set for elevated dining, but the restaurant does not necessarily have a dress code 🙂 I would recommend to dress nicely if you plan to eat here.
We came on a Monday night and were happily surprised to see the $9 Margarita Mondays all day! There are also opportunities for discounts on food and drinks. (Look through the pictures for the discounts!) Our passionfruit margaritas were amazing! We took Mark’s reccommendation and ordered The Taste of Oaxaca and the Madre Echiladas. These were authentic dishes and it was wonderful to share between two people.
Lalo and Mark checked in on us frequently, and we very much appreciated it. Lalo offered to take our photo and poured a refill on our water with the glass container on the table, when he noticed that our waters were low. For dessert, we ordered the Oaxaca cookie and it was amazing! Mark anticipated our dining needs by giving us 2 small plates to share our dishes, and making sure the ice cream on our cookie dessert was perfect. The cookie was very warm, soft, and the Oaxacan chocolate ice cream on top was divine when eaten with the cookie. I was greatly impressed and happy we visited Madre’s! I highly recommend stopping by.

The food is so great here. My husband and I love sharing the Molcajete and starting with their guacamole. They also make excellent drinks. The service is always great with friendly servers and bartenders. It’s also a beautiful restaurant. Definitely recommend for your next date night, family outing, or even just weeknight dinner out.

This place is a hidden gem! Everything we got was amazing. The nopales salad, mole enchiladas! The drinks are tasty and reasonable. Aside from the delicious food, the atmosphere is so relaxing and esthetic. The service was so welcoming and attentive especially Heriberto who was great energy and a true joy and even kept up with our toddler. 10/10 I definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area or not we drove an hour away for this. Best tacos and sangrias in town. We love the quality, taste, and uniqueness of their food. The flavors are bold but balanced. The menu is creative without being weird, like comfort food with a twist. Monday happy hour is a real gem, not a gimmick. Tacos are consistently fresh and packed with flavor. Mimosas are generous and well made. Service is warm, fast, and attentive. You come for the food. You return for the vibe. You make Mondays a habit.

Excellent food and ambient, The manager and waiters are very friendly. The Tlayuda is delicious, I still can’t believe I can find such an authentic Oaxaqueña cuisine in Valencia. The drinks are also great and their mezcal Selection is huge!! . Love this place! .

I had 3 tacos, the Chicharron taco, which looks more like a little burrito was my favorite of the 3, it was totally worth the price. The taco tripitas was flavorful and I would also recommend it. The pulpo taco was not worth it. My taco had 2 little pieces of octopus for 9 dollars, it was mostly lettuce and cucumber. That kept me from giving a 5 star review. I had agua fresca which was very tasty. The rest of my family all enjoyed their meals, but they enjoyed the drinks even more. There was also a mariachi band playing live, which was nice. Overall, it was a good night out with the family.

Tried this place for the first time for Taco Tuesday and was pleasantly surprised! The chicharon taco was delicious and we also tried the asada and cecina tacos. The tacos were pretty big and they had a lot of meat (yay). Tortilla tasted fresh and was served warm. It was perfect. Loved the chips, salsas, and guacamole and the horchata was refreshing. Great service from Heriberto! Would come back here for their brunch.

This was our first time visiting the restaurant and we were pleasantly surprised! We decided to eat lunch here and had a great meal. We have lived in Castaic for over 22 years and this is one of the best restaurants that we have been to in Santa Clarita/Valencia. We had an exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable server named Jose. He was kind and very attentive. Jose truly made our dining experience memorable. In addition, the restaurant itself was beautiful. It was much larger than it looks from the outside. The bar area had a wide variety of drinks and the food was outstanding! Furthermore, the restaurant itself was extremely clean and inviting. While there, we learned from Jose that this restaurant has live Mexican music on the weekends. We will definitely be coming back another time to enjoy the live music. A special thank you to Jose for making our dining experience a memorable one! We will definitely be returning soon!
