Had a great time in this little hole in the wall. Surprisingly great burgers and the bartender (Box) was funny as hell and very attentive. If you are looking for some fancy PC bistro or gatstropub this is not your place, but if you in for an old school bar and grill, scrappy servers, and a chill game of pool, you have hit the mark. Loved every minute of it!

Box (owner or bar tender) must have all the money in the world. I tried not to think it was because I was black or from a more Urban environment for why I was denied service at 9:28 when it is posted over Google that closing is 11:00pm. Im not from Madras. Everything in town seemed to be closed. The lights were on at the pub. I poked my head in and asked if the kitchen was still open and to my surprise she said yes. I think the bartenders name was Kendra and she was the only one working. I sat down looked at the menu which is mostly burgers but some apps, sandwiches and a BLT which is what I had. Ordered that and a beer. Had my food in about 10 minutes. Very good BLT. Beer was refreshing and had a few laughs with some of the locals. Didn’t stay long but glad they were open.

Stopped for a burger and beer, fun local dive. Small menu with pub grub. Burger was excellent. Although the taps were limited they do have a full bar. Good service and friendly to travelers.

No-frills, solid bar. Bartender is a badazz and takes care of you. Locals were chill and friendly— one got a little rowdy but the keep runs a no-nonsense bar and put them in check. If I pass through again, I’ll be back!
