Pretty good little breakfast place in brockton. Very cheap for the portions that they distribute. Pancakes are definitely very thick not light and fluffy. Omelette had a generous amount of linguiça. Would recommend!

I LOVE that it’s family owned! This particular day i went the food was extremely greasy i ordered hash-browns, pancakes with fruit. The fruit was not fresh it seemed like thawed out frozen fruit. I couldn’t even finish my meal. It’s cozy , the owners are super sweet. But i would definitely hope they step it up.

Heidi’s place is a family-owned small restaurant. Husband wife and son in the kitchen and there is always one waitress to help the customers. You really do not have to wait long at all for your meal. The breakfast is a very good and filling. She says great grits Cooks good eggs. The coffee is good as well. They are very nice to their customers. You can stay in the restaurant as long as you want they do not rush you out. They accept tips. They have a flat screen at the counter and tables and chairs in the restaurant also small booths if you prefer those better. There is parking in the back and parking on the side of the street. She opens very very early in the morning and closes I believe at 2 p.m. in the day. I believe she is open 7 days a week. Her prices are fair check her out

Came all the way from Ohio to Brockton with my family and we were looking for a family owned restaurant to eat in. We are very satisfied with Heidi’s place. The food was absolutely great, the hostess was fabulous, the coffee was so good and the price was fair! Definitely recommend them!

Lovely little place me and my sister found, classic, reminded me of a place back in Alabama. Our waitress Janine was friendly and funny offered us some fruit after the meal. Give that young lady a raise. Stop by if you can it was worth the trip from Boston.

They have really good breakfast. The staff are kind and it has a very homey feel to it. Great options for breakfast. My favorite is the eggs maryland. There food is not over priced and you get good portions.

Having flown in from California and Utah we weren’t sure what to expect. Then hearing one of the soldiers at the Constitution tour exclaim “Brockton! You’re staying in Brockton?! You know it has the 3rd highest crime rate right?!” this gave us more pause in venturing out from our hotel. But we weren’t gonna be deterred! Just kidding But I have to say, in all seriousness, having visited your establishment was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. The food was excellent! Tasty, well prepared just very good. But what capped it off for us was your hospitality to the young children waiting for their school bus. We watched as they came in quietly and respectfully sat down and talked quietly amongst themselves or talked to you and how you had such compassion for them. You hugged them, ask them if they were okay. It was a beautiful reminder of humanity and the seemingly lost art of true love. So inspiring. If ever in town again your place will again be a highlight to our trip and a must see.

One of the best breakfast places in Brockton. Family atmosphere, always welcoming. I’ve had better pancakes, but not by much. And this is the only place in town that has grits…and they do them right!

At first my review was based merely on a stars count. However, time has passed, and friends have become family. If you want true atmosphere and genuine love made with your food, this IS the place. Magda, Niko, Alex, Carrie, Janine, Robin, Christine. These names are synonymous with the definition of a family diner.
