We ordered a takeaway for three people for collection yesterday, and whilst I have to comment and say that the service was very friendly, unfortunately the food was really not good at all. The onion bhajis were undercooked and extremely greasy, I had to leave them. The sauce for two of the curries were quite tasty, but there was virtually no lamb in any of the very small portions, and what was there was very tough and chewy. I ordered dansak, one of my favourite curries, it was dry and lumpy, with so much tinned pineapple (why was there even any pineapple in there?! There shouldn’t be, and there was no mention of it on the menu), it was awful. The breads were all really greasy, even the rotis (which we were told were made with white flour but they were wholemeal). My naan was supposed to be a keema naan with added garlic, but there was no meat to be seen, and it was so chewy and unpleasant. The raita was so bright green it must’ve had food colouring in it. Even with only a 15 minute drive home, the food was nearly cold already, so we don’t believe it was piping hot when it was collected (even though we were at the table having a drink while we waited). It’s a real shame, but given this experience, we definitely cannot recommend.

We visited this Indian restaurant today and had a great experience. The food was absolutely delicious – we tried the butter chicken (10/10), naan bread, and several other dishes, and everything was full of flavor and well prepared. The service was excellent, very friendly and attentive. Prices are very reasonable for the portion sizes, which were generous and satisfying. The restaurant environment was clean and pleasant. Highly recommended, we will definitely come back!

Our first visit to Madras Curry House restaurant in Torrox Costa was absolutely amazing, and that initial experience made us come back numerous times. After returning several times, we can now confidently say this place is truly special.
From the moment we walked in, we were amazed by the outstanding hospitality and the warm, customer-focused attitude of the staff. The person in charge, in particular, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for, creating a truly unforgettable experience. Their politeness, attentiveness, and genuine passion for ensuring every guest feels special stood out from the very start.
Every dish was perfectly prepared, bursting with authentic flavors, and they were more than happy to customize it to suit our tastes and make it less spicy or not add coriander.
To top it off, we were treated to complimentary food and tea during every visit, a thoughtful gesture that added a personal touch to the whole experience.
The atmosphere was so inviting and filled with positive energy that we truly felt at home. We can’t stop raving about how delicious everything was and are already looking forward to our next visit. This place is a hidden gem in Torrox Costa, and we highly recommend it to anyone who loves amazing food and exceptional service!

Found ourselves at Madras Curry House on a Saturday night in Torrox. The waiter Chandra was genuinely friendly, radiating that pride you get from folks who know they’re serving up good food. His recommendation? Chicken vindaloo and perfectly spiced it did not disappoint. Wife went with the butter chicken, which hit the spot. They even included some lemon cello and Indian bread to start – perfect for soaking up all the flavors. This place is a solid 5 stars. No frills, just good, honest Indian food.

Nice place to eat Nepal and Indian food. Owner is from Nepal and that’s how the food tastes: authentic. Photos show Choi and the Tandoori mixed grill. Both were wonderful and freshly prepared. Prices are a steal for the quality offered.

Chandra, was a fantastic host and the food was amazing full of flavours and hot ,I didn’t feel rushed or pressured in hurrying up, I had starters onion bhaji chicken pakora, main was mushroom frid rice and lamb vindloo with garlic and cheese nan I would give this place a 20 out of 10 .I will definitely be coming back to have another meal before I leave Spain .

We had a delicious meal…everything freshly prepared and slightly different than what we normally order. The owner offered suggestions which we decided to follow….each one better than the last!!! They obviously take pride in what they serve…loved every bite and will certainly return before our week is up!!
