One of the most enjoyable wining and dining experiences on Long Island. With a large, lively and lovely bar, Madiran’s selection of wine is impeccable. Along with several, select dining options, you’ll experience a classic/classy beyond pleasant experience.
Before the authentic and hearty Hunarisn Goulash is taken taken off of the ‘winter menue’ I suggest you go to Madiran The Wine Bar.
You’ll be so glad you did!
Almost forgot. — really great live music, too…(jazz, standards, popular songs too performed tastefully and NOT loud!

I am not much of a wine drinker at all, but the staff here made the experience enjoyable and easy. They were extremely friendly, patient, and knowledgeable, and they took the time to help me find something I genuinely liked. You can really tell they are true professionals when it comes to wine. They explained where different wines came from, how they taste, and why they taste the way they do, without ever making it feel overwhelming.
There was live music playing while we were there, which really set the mood and gave the place a relaxed, intimate atmosphere. The wine selection itself is impressive, with an incredible variety to choose from. It’s worth looking through or even checking photos just to see how extensive it is.
We also had some food and snacks, and everything was fresh and very good. After looking over the menu, I’d definitely love to come back another time for dinner, as the entrées sounded excellent. Overall, this is a great spot whether you’re a serious wine lover or someone who’s just starting to explore wines in a comfortable setting.

I didn’t eat while I was there however, what I saw looked very delicious. The wine selection was vast!! The owner/sommelier Jacqueline was phenomenal!! She was not only an incredibly nice person but extremely knowledgeable about the wines. I would describe what I liked and she inevitably brought me something that was so very scrumptious! The seating was a combination of a very long bar, leather chairs and sofa by a fireplace and table and chair seating. I will absolutely be returning when I’m back in town!!!

Madiran the wine bar. I’m mad I didn’t run here sooner. The atmosphere was awesome. Cozy little spot with comfortable seating, two huge bars and a jazz band playing in the corner. The artichokes were pretty good. Not the best I’ve had, probably a 7/10. The chicken dish was kind of dry but tasted really good. The orecchiette with smoked salmon was incredible. Definitely would get it again. The wine list was extensive and reasonably priced as well. I saw some reviews about the service being bad, but we didn’t really see why. The initial visit took a bit but after that the dishes and wine came out at the time you’d expect. Would definitely come back to try other dishes or just to hang out with a charcuterie board and glass of wine.

1st time guest last nite for V Day. Food, ambiance and drinks could not have been nicer. Owner Jacqueline is truly the perfect host, 1st yes but not my last time!!

Perfect date night venue, especially with its excellent live music (weekends). Intimate and cozy with varied and delicious small plates menu, and they really know their wine. Lauren, sister to owner Jacqueline, was our server and we gladly let her suggest new wines. We loved all her choices and also the fact that we could order half-pours that allowed us to sample more. Food was excellent, especially the spinach, roasted-beet and goat cheese salad, awesome sliders on grilled baguette, yummy orecchiette with sausage and pesto, and the outrageous molten chocolate dessert. We’ll be back soon.

This is our new favorite place. The owner is also the sommelier and she takes great pride of all of the wine she carefully selects. The charcuterie boards are eclectic and the ambiance is that of an upscale Manhattan wine bar. Her sister was our server and not only did they remember us, she remembered which wine I loved from last time. Unparalleled service. Remarkable wine. There is no place like this within a 50 mile radius. Jackie really know wine and guides us in the right direction
