I stopped by Medina Halal Grill while I was in Dallas for a work conference and honestly loved it. I’m big on Mediterranean food and this place reminded me of one of my favorite gyro spots back home in Minneapolis. The first night I got the chicken shawarma with fries and cleaned the whole plate super fresh and flavorful. I came back again before flying out and they actually recognized me and welcomed me back by name, which was pretty cool.
Second visit I tried the chicken bowl and it was just as good. Quick service, friendly staff, and really solid prices. If I’m back in the Richardson area, I’m definitely coming here again.

Shawarma can go wrong in so many ways, but not here, they really know how to cook it right. The shawarma is always on point, and even the platters are another great way to enjoy their food. You honestly can’t go wrong ordering anything. It feels like food that can’t go wrong, straight up feels like home. I also love how they updated the tables and chairs and expanded the place it looks really good now. But the real heart of this restaurant will always be front staff and the crew. They genuinely make you feel welcome, especially on those late, beautiful nights.

Been wanting to hit this place up when I crave a gyro platter and it did not dissapoint!
The styrofoam togo box was so heavy, the portion was ridiculous! I got the beef/lamb platter for $13 and it was very flavorful and balanced. Huge bed of rice underneath everything, the meat were in sizeable cubes and not crumbled or in strips, and plenty of veg and white/red sauce on the side!

The first time I went was on a Monday and later that week I had to go again. I’ve had the chicken shawarma and gyro wrap. They were both very flavorful and well-seasoned. Be sure to get garlic sauce if you get fries. They also have hot sauce for those that like spicy. I spend around $13-14 and leave feeling very full so definitely worth it. Even when I get a dessert it still doesn’t add much more. I now go every week and will definitely keep going. I can’t believe I’ve been in Richardson Texas most of my life and it took me so long to finally stop by and try it. Better late than never, though!

Chicken shawarma over rice was delicious. Spicy and full of flavors. Reminded me of NYC halal eats but this one is better! Reasonably priced and huge portions.

Great food. Enjoyed the chicken shwarma wrap and side of falafels. We accidentally didn’t order lamb, will have to try that next time. Overall a great experience and will be back.

Food is amazing. Falafel is perfect, shawarma right off the spit. Hummus and pita bread delicious. Just wish the restaurant was a little bigger!

The food is excellent, but the atmosphere needs improvement. The tables and dining area were not very clean, which took away from the overall experience. I hope they focus on improving cleanliness to enhance the dining experience.

I ordered the Chicken Shawarma Combo and it is absolutely phenomenal. I’ve eaten all over Richardson for shawarma and this is one of the most flavorful and satisfying ones I’ve had in the DFW area.
The meat is tender and seasoned great, the wrap itself is cooked perfectly, and the garlic sauce is so delicious with everything. The pickled veggies were delicious with a great acidic flavor along with a satisfying crunch. The fries are cooked well and seasoned great, but then dip them in the garlic sauce? Then they’re on another level.
Plus the have Vimto, so you already know it’s gonna be a killer place.
