This dining facility was nice (emphasis on the word WAS). The servings were small, but the service was kind and fair, as well as the workers. As of today, however, I am quite dissatisfied with the establishment. The switch from three orange to two orange servings was a blow, but such was tolerable. The recent decision to only serve fruit during the mornings was devastating for me, but I could live. The fact that I wanted five bowls of fruit instead of eggs, meat, and three bowls of fruit (I’m on a meal card) shouldn’t have been the reason I dissed this place, but here we are. This was the fourth time I could get breakfast in 58 days, and I had fifteen minutes to get down there and get out. Ten of those minutes were spent dealing with a worker’s garbage as she called over multiple others to stop me from getting two little bowls of fruit. I ended up paying $5.64 for two fruit bowls. I could’ve spent that money on a whole meal, or at least a melon. Yes, I could’ve given them away, but I was trying to leave quickly. I was literally running out of the facility irate on my first day getting a patient in the hospital. It was an awful start to a pretty nice day, and I won’t forget it.

I had the cheapest meal at this hospital, 3 diff items for less than $6. Was stuck here longer than expected and needed to eat something. Fresh salad w various dressing options too. Chicken wings were baked but crunchy n not salty at all. Lower/non salted food unlike most overly salted American dishes n prepared food. Would truly eat here again.

I enjoy taking my Children to the DFAC. They get a kick out of eating with the Soldiers and the fact that there is always a pretty good selection of food to choose from. The staff is great and helpful.

If you have a choice between going hungry and eating here, miss a meal. Seriously. Everything is from a can and is either too salty or completely unseasoned. It’s only 2 stars instead of one because it’s incredibly cheap which is nice because I end up eating here way more than I would like.
