I had my dishes at the bar. Excellent (diligent and friendly) service from the waitress. I had the pizza once and it was really good (definitely the best pizza I had moved to the us). Alas … The April special (starter main and desert) was really disappointing. Insipid brocoli, tomatoes sauce for the meatballs felt like out of the can (not simmered with spices and veggies). The main meat had to be sent back to the kitchen … And the chicken escalope hidden under a supposedly parma prosciutto had no to little taste. The desert … Filled with Chantilly out of a can as well … (Whipped cream). Bref … I’ll give another try (a la carte this time) and complete that review.

We ordered take out here for my birthday (we’ve never been before) because we’d heard good things about it and I wanted a good italian meal. We ordered a ceasar salad, two pasta dishes, and garlic bread. The positive is that the prices were good, and our pasta dishes were good. The ceasar salad was not the freshest. The most disappointing part of the meal was the garlic bread. Imagine our surprise when we opened the box thinking we’d get a good, crispy garlic bread and we got this (see photo). And yes, that’s what it looked like right when we picked it up. We didn’t even order it with cheese! Needless to say, we probably won’t be ordering from here again.

Did take-out. Pizza was very good and ready on time. No complaints there. But what’s with the pick-up fee of $1 and an online ordering fee of $0.60? It’s a small amount I know but it makes no sense. Never seen this elsewhere.

Always great food and service. Restaurant week menu was a nice surprise when we arrived. I strayed from my normal choice to try the steak tips which were perfectly cooked and tasted great. Arugula gorgonzola salad and a chocolate chip canoli were also delicious. I guess I forgot to get a picture of the entree, but it was great.

This is a great Italian restaurant! Pleasantly surprised by this place which has a generous menu at a very reasonable price point expected for a place of this kind. The calamari, Salmon risotto and Buffalo pizza were exquisite.

Every thing is awesome here. Alex, our host, was amazing. Food is great. Fresh baked panini with olive oil and roasted garlic was heaven. Buffalo chicken pizza was fantastic. Risotto with zafron was rich with flavor. Panini with chicken and broccoli with creamy garlic sauce was so good too. Will come again for sure.

Waited an extra 15 minute for my pickup order, pizza was undercooked and soggy. They also don’t mention that half the pizza will be covered in tomato slices. Won’t be going again. Go to Dean Park, Village Pizzeria, or Shrewsbury pizza for better pizza.
