If you’re craving authentic Maharashtrian flavors, this place is an absolute gem! We had a delicious food plate with jowar bhakri, bharit, pithle, thecha, sabudana khichadi, kothimbir wadi & ukadiche modak and everything tasted amazing.
The food is homestyle, flavorful & truly comforting, just like it’s made in traditional Marathi kitchen. The vibe is chill and making it our go-to place whenever we’re in the mood for real Maharashtrian food.
Highly recommended!! Loved the food, loved the vibe!!

5/5 Stars – Authentic Maharashtra Cuisine at Its Finest
I can’t think of anything but a perfect 5/5 for the food they serve here. This is hands-down the most authentic and delicious Maharashtra cuisine you’ll find in town, period.
Don’t be fooled by the limited selection on the menu – this is actually one of the restaurant’s greatest strengths. You’ll be pleasantly surprised to discover that their focused approach means every single dish is executed to perfection. Rather than overwhelming you with endless options, they’ve carefully curated a menu that showcases the true essence of Maharashtrian flavors.

Ultimate and authentic Marathi best food in Austin. Had a food combo and several chaat items. All food was neatly and nicely prepared. Taste is wonderful. Must place to go.

If you’re looking for authentic Maharashtrian/Marathi Indian food in the Austin area, Madhuri’s Kitchen is the best place! You’ll find delicious dishes like Pithala, Bhakari, shabudana khichadi, modak, and many more that are not available elsewhere. The chat items are yummy too. The service is always great with a smile.

Very very expensive for vegetarian food. Lots of similar reviews regarding this complaint but seems like it’s deliberately served. Who serves only 1 puranpolli ? Ragda Patti was served in a tiny Prasad bowl. Dahi puri had “ NO BASE “dahi. Very very dissapointing. Flavour is okayish. Here is an idea if you don’t want to serve food don’t open a food joint 🙂 . I was as hungry as I came .
Not coming back. These food trucks have become money minting places. Save your money and go to the other food trucks in this area. FYI I also serve free food to temples and gurudwara.

I’ve only ever eaten “typical” Indian food in the US and had never been exposed to these sorts of regional flavors. They are INCREDIBLE! I had a chance to meet the family behind the operation, too, and they’re amazing people. Give it a try!
