We walked in without making any reservation on a weekend at 5.30pm. The staff are all very friendly and Banthelis (hope I got his name right) kindly told us that we have to leave by 7.30pm.
We ordered a pasta, dessert & drinks for a quick dinner. The food is very good and service is great.
We left “belly” happily before 7.30pm.

One of the best pizzas I’ve ever tasted. The Swiss really have their food down to a science. Staff was very friendly allowed us to bring our dog inside. We had a wonderful pizza.

Ravioli truffle : only 7 pieces, not fulfilling but sauce make it tasty.
Pizza Buffalo : very nice tomato sauce, the dough was nicely done.

pizza was crispy and delicious!! their pastas were so good: seafood pasta with clams were top notch and their carbonara was rich with flavour. however there were tiny bits of meat on the carbonara that were too salty.
service was good and the atmosphere is cool. usually doesnt really get full as there are seats inside and outside.

When I walked into Sud Italienisches Restaurant Luzern, I got seated at a lovely little table in the back of a patio seating area. I was having a early dinner, and there was hardly anyone at the restaurant, so my waiter came up instantly and asked what I wanted. ” I’m deciding between the carbonara and the pizza,” I told him. “What do you recommend?” He said that if I was quite hungry, go for the carbonara, or if I wanted to eat some then take half home, go for the pizza. Once I had agreed on the carbonara, he wanted me to know that it did have real pig cheek in it. As a tourist, it’s really nice to be warned about things you might not expect! But truly, this was one of the best carbonara s I’ve had. The noodles were perfectly cooked, and the sauce was creamy and smooth and topped with meat and Parmesan. A really delicious pasta, and I could peel through the window to see the chefs making other meals while I ate. Truly a beautiful restaurant with incredible food, I highly recommend.

My wife got the cheese pizza. It was delicious. I got the ravioli the sauce that they had the ravioli in was unreal,amazing. We are from the united states.So when looking at the menu we were hungry,but we did not know how to read the menu we tried google translate, but the pictures are worth a thousand words.The translation didn’t do it justice, so I googled reviews and saw the pictures on their website.And I saw the ravioli and fell in love, and then when it came to my table fell in love twice.My stomach think me.
