The atmosphere was warm, friendly, and very inviting. The staff were professional, attentive, and genuinely kind. They patiently explained the menu and offered excellent recommendations, which made the dining experience even more enjoyable.
We ordered the Fish tacos and Birria tacos, and both were exceptional — perfectly cooked and full of authentic Mexican flavors. The drinks were equally impressive: creative, refreshing, and very well balanced.
The restaurant also has great music, and it’s clearly a fun place to celebrate special occasions. They play Mexican music for birthdays, creating a lively and joyful atmosphere that truly sets this place apart.
Overall, this is a cozy restaurant with fantastic food, a vibrant atmosphere, and excellent service. I highly recommend it and will definitely be returning.
The evening was relaxed and unhurried, and the staff took excellent care of us throughout. I am truly grateful for such a lovely experience and look forward to returning with friends and family.
I highly recommend this restaurant for a really fun night out!
Loved the decor, atmosphere and music! Staff were very friendly and welcoming and we immediately felt transported to Mexico. Very cosy place, super busy for a Thursday night dinner. The food was beautifully presented, well portioned, and reasonably priced, but unfortunately it went downhill from there. Every dish we tried was seriously lacking in authentic Mexican seasoning. The soup and refried beans were bland. The side sauces were watery and also lacked any real flavour. Now on to the main courses:
-The beef Street Tacos had no seasoning and my son didn’t even eat them.
-The Pork Carnitas Quesadillas had a very mush consistency as though the pork had been boiled, and again completely lacking flavour.
– The Tacos “Al Pastor” were very oily and lacking seasoning so much that the only flavour that stood out were the fresh onions and pineapple.
So disappointed for a place that claims to be authentically Mexican.
We’re going back to our other favourite local Mexican restaurant as there is simply no comparison in taste.
Once in the booth the service was swift and so kind. The food was amazing.
If you are looking for authentic great Mexican you will not be disappointed.
We got taquitos, jalapeño poppers, Birria Taco and Durato Tacos all excellent.
The server was so fast she came and replaced drinks before I could thank her.
The restaurant was very loud more of a bar atmosphere , shouts of tequila and celebratory cheering for bdays heard throughout the meal.
The food was ok, not as exciting as other Mexican restaurants I’ve tried. Overall it is on the bland side, lack of spice/kick or uniqueness in the flavour, it would be something like you can get at a fast food place like Burrito boys. Made In Mexico really need to figure some way to distinguish themselves as the competition is on, with Ghost Taco at the other end of the street and Mexicanada (from Bradford) opening their second Newmarket location on the main street.
If there is one thing the restaurant needs to work on, it would be the food because the service and decor is already there. Example, the complimentary sides could be more exciting to keep people craving for. Or maybe the food presentation could get worked on, as sometimes our sense of taste are directed by visual experience as well. All the best as I really wish a local gem as such could strive because I am sure it carries a lot of memories for families.
The most authentic Mexican food I have had in a very long time… Fish tacos
