Small town country diner, massive restaurant and massive portions. This is just a classic country diner, that’s what you get. It was a fun dinner with some pretty good food. The best meal was by far the braised beef and mashed potatoes, so tender and juicy. Like a very good pit roast. The NY Strip was huge, it was cooked perfectly. The steak was very lean and lacked some flavor, needed some more salt. I tried it with the house made steak Au Poivre sauce, that wasn’t too bad. The clam chowder was solid and the rolls were awesome. The rolls were super light, airy, and buttery. The vibes were awesome, lots of farm and ranch artwork.

The food was amazing. Some of the best prime rib I have had anywhere. There was a long delay between ordering and receiving the salads and then another long delay to for the entrees. Not sure if our order got lost or something, but when they did come out my daughter’s order was missing. The waiter offered her a slice of pie.

Overall a great dining experience.

A warm and pleasant atmosphere. The food was full of flavor and the portions were satisfying.The best rolls I’ve eaten in Utah. The waiter was a bit distracted and didn’t provide the correct or complete information for the bison burger we ordered (nothing is perfect). In the end, the bill was very reasonable for 3 people/4 plates.Just one suggestion: adding bacon to the menu would be a great addition to the burgers.Recommend Thanks Guys!

Maddox is a great restaurant. The food was good. Jaycie W was a great waitress, very knowledgeable. Took very good care of us.
The restaurant was clean and nice looking.
The cream of Chicken Soup was great. My husband had a plate with Salmon and mashed potatoes and seasonal veggies. That was good. I had Sautéed Bison, mashed potatoes and vegetables, they were good. The rolls and corn bread was delicious.

We got seated right by a kitchen door with the floor beneath us creaking loudly and moving… it was a very very busy place the service was quick friendly and knowledgeable… my husband and I both got the prime rib that was perfectly cooked a clam chowder that had grape flavor and the rolls are to die for with the raspberry spread

We heard about this place from my wife’s grandparents and decided to give it a try.

Our waitress was nice and gave us some recommendations. We got the fried chicken and a buffalo cheese burger. Both were good.

The chicken breast was a little on the dry side, but the other cuts weren’t quite as dry.

The potatoes and gravy was really great and we also really loved the bread.

Best food in the state! From rolls and corn bread, to the incredible soup, and then the salmon with fresh corn was amazing! The only thing better was the free pie between 3-5pm and the incredible staff who are friendly and helpful. Love you Maddox!

Why all the hype? The fried chicken was not good. The steak was bloody rare. It’s the type of restaurant where they get you in and then they get you out! It’s mainly filled with senior citizens. I guess that makes sense.
