One of our favourite restaurants in Queenstown! The food generally is very good. The nasi lemak and curry laksa were great. Roti was nice and crispy with reasonable curry.

The ayam percik & satay were also quite good (though the chicken was a bit dry). Wok-fried items (fried rice, char kway teow) were good on one of the days we came, then less flavourful on another.

The best Malaysian cuisine ive had in ages. The server had a very friendly face and was quick in getting our order thru . Gave us some suggestions which worked really well. My partner enjoyed it the most compared to other asian cuisines weve had.

Laksa was unlike other laksas that I have had of which I have had plenty. It was smooth and tasty though. Was hard to justify the price tag of the Kaffir mocktail. Attention to decor in keeping with the ambience. Staff were knowledgeable and was able to recommend dishes suitable for those who like to have less chillies or no chillies at all in their dish. Others in the group had Madams yellow chicken curry, asian slaw and nasi lemak. We also had a share dish of roti.

Gorgeous welcoming staff ! Best to make a reservation, very happy vibe and happening place. The food came out quickly and presented beautifully with a smile. It was delicious with fresh crispy vegetables/salads. We devoured the sweet corn spring rolls, the crispy pork belly salad and madams yellow chicken curry with the woo fried rice !

Amazing food. Loved it. Laska was a special hit. Roti lanai was nice and flaky like it should be. Chicken dishes were awesome. Great service, friendly staff. Pretty decent size place, they adjusted the seating so they we all 12 could be at one table. Quick service. Right level of spice but not read heat. Will definitely go again the next time I am in this part of the world. Hight recommend

3 adults dining. $300 for a good amount of food, a bottle of wine and 2 more alcoholic drinks. Sesame prawn toast (a little flavourless), Roti very small serve, char kway teow (good but not amazing) beef rendang delicious as was honey chilli calamari. Service was friendly. Atmosphere quite noisy on wooden floors. Ambience was more like a cafe. Would recommend but did not meet expectations.

Fabulous meal at Madam Woo’s. The service was speedy and friendly and the food was beyond delicious! We had the wok fried veggies, the yellow curry and the sticky squid. So so good!

The restaurant is good, the food is great but the staff seems to have problem dealing with the guests… I appreciate they might be fairly busy as other restaurants in the surrounding area…
Anyways, the food was good and that’s what mattered the most.. cheers

The staff are absolutely lovely. The atmosphere on the night we went was quite low quay so that may have affected the atmosphere. The food was average mainstream Malaysian nothing out of the box. If that’s your cup of tea you will enjoy however if your looking for something a bit more interesting????

We enjoyed our experience at Madam Woo. A lovely restaurant offering outdoor seating in the heart of Queenstown. We had a light lunch (with an additional rice, not pictured) and wished we could have returned (before leaving Queenstown) to experience the delicious food and atmosphere. We look forward to returning one day in the future. Thank you for a wonderful meal and dining experience.
