I’m a flight attendant and stopped in the Austin airport and KRYSTAL TOOK CARE OF ME IN THE BEST WAY 🙂 I came back twice within 24 hours! She was patient with me, kind, and helped me pick exactly what I wanted with it being my very first time there. Thank you so much Krystal and the rest of the staff.

This place was recommended to me by staff at Ways2Well when I discussed the difficulty finding food I can eat while at the airport. It’s an order counter only, no seating, across from gate 16. A little pricey but it is a reasonably healthy salad in an airport. I appreciate the ability to customize the salad to increase the health and keep away from refined sugar (candied pecans) and seed oils (dressing). It’s a good option for someone endeavoring to make healthy choices in an airport full of pizza, sandwiches, and alcohol.

Not the appropriate restaurant for an airport. Especially when it’s a walk up counter and seating You would presume quick service only to employees lots of people wanting service and talk about slow assembly This food better be phenomenal

We had a short layover in Austin on the way home. We walked around and found MAD Greens and decided this was our spot for dinner. I ordered Southwest Hearty Wrap and it was good. Sure, $14 is pretty high for what it was – but when you’re at the airport that is expected. Service was good too. The atmosphere wasn’t great, but it is in the terminal so what do you expect?!

Although Mad Greens in the Austin, Texas airport serves an assortment of wraps and salads, I decided instead for one of their Mac Bowls instead, particularly the BBQ Mac Bowl.
This dish consisted of white cheddar bow tie pasta, grilled chicken topped with Jack Pepper cheese, jalapeno crisps, green onions, and drizzled with BBQ sauce. It was served in a sturdy cardboard-like bowl.
The pasta was served al dente, but there could have been more chicken and BBQ sauce. The chicken was minced, so one can hardly see it. The jalapeno crisps were a nice touch, and didn’t have an overpowering flavor.
There was a bit of a wait, but since I had a long layover, so I wasn’t too bothered by it. Overall, the food was tasty and hit the spot, but it didn’t leave me clamoring for more. Since it was located in the airport, it was a bit pricey. If I ever eat at Mad Greens again, I may choose one of its wraps.

After a horrid experience at the Peached Tortilla I went here received kindly service and much better food. The toast was toasted. The avocados were green and plentiful. A touch of flavored oil and got some egg too.
I didn’t get greens but they didn’t look scary hence me trying again!
Thank you!

I paid $13.64 for a bowl of quinoa- six tiny cubes of chicken…this place is a rip off! And the staff wasn’t friendly- it was almost like they were annoyed because you asked a question. I asked for a little bit of ref onions and she wanted to charge me $1.50. I wish i looked at the contents before walking away to catch my flight! Sad part is as an airport employee they should treat us better!!

Avoid disappointment and op for breakfast tacos anywhere else in the airport but here. I order Texas tacos with bacon, avocado, eggs, potatoes, jack cheese + green chili. Turns out there was no jack cheese and the green chili (which I was told was spicy) was lackluster…no flavor at all. Everything was lukewarm (especially the potatoes employees didn’t really know what was what. I ended up with three very flat tasting tacos with no texture or flavor.
Update: I was sick before my flight could take off.

Really good, healthy, well portioned options with decent prices compared to other restaurants at AUS. They also have gluten free options. The lady who helped me was also friendly.

I like this place! Not sure why people like wraps, just get the bowl! It’s a bigger portion. Yes you can get all the veggies toppings on there. Just ask the workers. It’s more like a Chipotle’s, but with healthier options. 🙂 it was yummy to me. They have Sriracha packages so get as spicy as you want. I got the Buddha bowl, and it was good!
