I am so glad that I finally came to this bakery when passing by around Valentine’s Day! I follow the bakery on social media, and I’ve always wanted to stop in. Topeka location closed, but this location is open and so cute! The owner was very nice and accommodating for a large order over the phone, and everything was delicious. Loved the gold chocolate dipped strawberries & the heart sugar cookies the most! Two person cheesecake was also excellent. Thank you Peggy for all of your help!

Peggy has been a pleasure to work with since day one. Her talent not only comes from years of honing her skills, but also from her heart. I’ve attached pictures of our two cakes that we had in our wedding. Our wedding cake had a beautiful night sky with us beneath. She included our two dogs who are still alive on the right, and included our favorite pup who had recently passed away on the left. It was an amazing tribute to such an amazing dog, and I really appreciate her incorporating him.

Our second cake was R2-D2 in a tuxedo. She nailed it perfectly.

Regarding flavor, the cakes were delicious. We had many flavors with many tiers, and she managed to hit the banana cake (my favorite) spot on. I normally hate fondant, but hers includes marshmallow. It really brings a nice flavor to it.

My wife and I will never forget these beautiful cakes and Peggy’s creativeness. I give this bakery a strong recommendation.

I was visiting Holton and Google maps popped up with a recommendation. So I dropped by Mad Eliza’s and I was not disappointed!

The service was excellent and I ended up with a blueberry muffin it was excellent but the display case is filled with cakes and macaroons and doughnuts. From appearances I don’t think you can make a wrong choice.

They so not serve espresso drinks but they do have wonderful drip coffee I believe by blue jazz roasters.

Very nice place to sit and enjoy your baked goods and coffee!

They also have a fun mix of unusual to find classic sodas in the bottle.

My husband loved the cinnamon roll. It reminded him of his mom’s cinnamon roll . Personally, I enjoyed the cinnamon blueberry scone. It was one of the best I’ve had! It wasn’t dry. The young man who waited on us was very courteous and friendly. Such a great find we plan on stopping on our way of town tomorrow!

I was invited by a very good friend, to attend Mad Eliza’s tea party. The bakery is in a darling location in the center of town. The shop is very small but well kept.

I enjoyed a variety of different teas and pastries. Macarons, pistachio bars, cookies, mini cinnamon rolls with orange zest on top and a few other treats.

The tea party was cramped in the small space but the company was delightful, so in the end its cozy.

Mad Eliza’s owner was there and some staff. All very cheerful and helpful.

Over all I enjoyed my afternoon of tea. Lovely bakery and lovely company.

Highly recommend checking them out when your in Holton.

We decided to drive around the town courthouse square and saw the bakery was open. We went in and bought 3 different muffins: a orange/cranberry, mocha, and blueberry. They were the most delicious tasting I’ve ever had, and had wonderful texture. 6 stars out of 5.

There are so many great options! It’s hard to pick just one or two things when I want to purchase one of everything! Their bread puddings are literally the best and the tiramisu is flawless. The raspberry chocolate chip cheesecake cones are seriously good.

Love, love, love their cinnamon rolls! They also have really good coffee. And let’s not forget their scrumptious, moist, and super delicious cupcakes. You are sure to be a hit when you bring them home or to a meeting.

Their custom cakes are a work of art, literally. I almost hate to cut into them, except they taste sooooo good. (Be sure to order them well in advance though as they are back ordered for quite some time.)

Wonderful cakes and cookies!!! I went to there new store in the brookwood shopping center with my wife and ordered several items. My favorite was the maple cupcake with bacon on top. My wife’s favorite was a streusel of some sort. Mark was very helpful in explaining all the different flavors to us. We will definitely be returning soon!
