Saw this place on our way to Lowe’s and all knew we had to go back that way for lunch. So glad we did! Everything was delicious! Came out super hot and fresh and the service was amazing!! They cut up out sons hotdog for him since he loves it that way. Awesome place! We will be back for sure with our parents.

If you like chilli cheese dogs then you will LOVE this place! Honest truth the chilli was exceptional, the fries needed more love but I came for the dogs. The smoothie that i tasted was the freshest tasting smoothie ever. It’s easy to go in the wrong entrance for the driveway but after you get through that the people are very pleasant and helpful and like i said.. chilli dogs are exceptional

I’ve driven past it for 3 years and for the longest time I would judge it. Make false claims about it.
But today was the day, I chose to try it. I was craving some good hot dogs but in general handheld foods. I’m glad I came here today to give it a try. The staff is phenomenal and gave me some good pointers. I got the Cincinnati, New Yorker, and Seattle settler. Each one was far from the next but the flavors were beyond me. Now I see don’t judge something you’ve never experienced. Go out there and give Mad Dogs a try!!!

Hotdog!! The rumors are true! Live in Punta Gorda but heard that Venice was the place to get a good dog. Can’t beat service and selection. Such friendly staff. Awesome selection to satisfy any craving. They offer steamed, grilled or fried. Loved the sauerkraut on the New Yorker and chili with cheese sauce on the coney. Definitely coming back to try some different varieties. You should check out the Mad Dogs!!

Chicago Dog was fantastic!! I will definitely be back to get more and even a different type of hot dog. They have a large menu for such a small spot. Highly recommend to stop in and check it out!!
The only downfall is having to make a U-turn to pay and get food. I’m sure it helps when it’s busy.
