Bill‘s hazelnut cream coffee beans are the best! We have moved all over Maryland and even to Florida over the past decade, but continue to have him ship us 4 pounds at a time. I’m not sure we’d be able to get up in the morning without it! Wonderfully responsive service.

Absolutely delicious food and coffee! Not only that but great prices. It is hard to find an equal for the size of their sandwiches and you will not find a better tasting sandwich in Columbia. Show up early to a visit to the hospital or grab a snack on the way to college. You will not be dissapointed! They make the best fresh roasted beans in the area. I love the flavors. The owner Bill is amazing and friendly. They used to have the occasional live music in the evenings, not sure if they still do that. The atmosphere is great.

The absolute best place. I love coming here. Owned by some wonderful people and you literally cannot go wrong with any drink or food!!! I’ve been coming here with my mom for 10+ years and this place is just as good, and affordable as it’s ever been. Truly a hidden gem! Wonderful place to work from too during the week!

I’ve been visiting this place a couple of times a year, and my girlfriend and I really enjoy it. She loves getting fresh brew coffee, while I usually opt for tea and a handmade Danish from the back. Today, the coffee was excellent and fresh, just like always. I’ve never had any issues here; the staff is always courteous and provides great service. If you’re ever in the area, be sure to check out Mad City Coffee!

If you are after coffee beans, seems like there is a large variety n that is a good fit for this place.
But don’t go for a full breakfast, maybe a bagel.
Place is not very clean.
Bacon while crispy was so very salty I had to leave it. I made several attempts thinking maybe it was just one piece…nope
Brewed coffee is very limited n the only regular coffee was so weak that it turned white with just a bit of cream.
Staff was accommodating n friendly n isthe best thing about the place.

Over all this coffee shop brings uniqueness to Columbia Maryland. The staff is friendly and skilled. The atmosphere is relaxing and welcoming. The quality of products is most definitely top tier. Stop by! INK approved

Came in for a little breakfast date with my spouse and child. The atmosphere is relaxed and cool. We saw many children and it felt like a family place. The staff was polite and answered any questions we had. The food and coffee came hot and fresh. We had the sausage egg and cheese on rye and wheat with cheddar. The portions we a bit bigger than I thought, but very good! The Cafe mocha was a bit on the dark chocolate side which is my favorite way to drink it and bring out the coffee notes. My spouse had the regular coffee and enjoyed his sipping experience. Our child was in their stroller. We had no problems parking her to eat and she loved the music playing. We can’t wait to come back again!
