Great old establishment with lots of history and character. Great place to get dinner and drinks. Recommend the bar, great drinks at an even better price. Better hurry tho, they will be closing for good next month. Recommend you have their famous Prime Rib. Recommend the extra thick cut !!

I heard a guy at the bar ask why they do not expand. (About an hour wait) The bartender replied it would ruin the ambiance. So true. Love the old school vibe and menue!! The ribeye was cooked perfectly, and the prime rib was perfect. Pasta was pasta, veggies slightly over cooked, but who cares. The calamari was utterly perfect and fantastic! Soup was a semi thick minestrone perfect not runny. The salad was a salad. The bread was so flavorful. Prices? Well, it can’t beat the value in today’s market. We’ll done. With only 4 employees on the floor, you guys handled it like a well-oiled machine! Parking sucks but it’s enough to fill the house and have overflow.

My nephew treated us to a meal here. We were a big group (10 people) so we had to wait a bit. We sat at the bar and had a few drinks. The restaurant is known for its cheap drinks (according to my cousins). Anyway we were seated as soon as a big space opened up.
The food is plentiful here. You order a main dish (I got the calamari steak) and it is accompanied by soup, salad, sides, bread etc. It’s just overwhelming to me. I just ate small portions of the soup and the calamari. The rest of my group dived in and finished everything. They love this restaurant and go as often as possible. It’s a very down home place, with friendly staff and big portions. Like a neighborhood joint. Also, they only accept cash. I thought I was the only one who ever carried cash these days!!

Great food, excellent customer service, cozy atmosphere, in a rainy day what can better than this?? Prime ribs was excellent, price is fantastic, my baby really love their pasta, looks normal but something magic about it! Ribeye and prime steak both were good, love the sesame bread!! Highly recommend this place, if you are within an hour distance, worth the drive totally! Always amazed by family business.

We went to this restaurant/bar that has been in business a very long time!!!
The food is fantastic, all sides are set, you just have to pick your meat!

The bread is warm and moist! The minestrone is flavourful and served family style
The salad is tasty, but could use more than lettuce and 1 piece of salami.
My steak was cooked perfectly as asked and had lots of flavor!
They also have good drinks and especially for the price!

Only real compliant is that the place was very hot! Antioch is a hot place!!! You need decent AC!

Although this restaurant opens @ 4:00, the line to get in was longer than the limited available seating. Our party of four arrived @ 3:15 and we’re not at the head of the line. Highly recommend getting in line no later than 3:30 PM. Once seated, service was prompt and efficient. Great value for both food and bar. Our party of four had prime rib (2) and two fish (1 Red Snapper & 1 Salmon) plus two rounds of bar drinks for about $200, including tip. Down side – small venue filled with boisterous diners means atmosphere is very noisy. Also, with a line of diners outside still waiting to be seated, we were expected to leave soon after eating. The only way to stay and savor the meal was to continue ordering drinks from the bar. Bar rules: no holding an open seat for late arrival of friends. Bar doesn’t allow food service @ the bar. Unless you’re in the first seating @ 4, expect to wait an hour, or more, With no reservations, it may be wiser to arrive after 7 PM and hope that the early seating crush has subsided or the bar crowd has thinned out.

This place has been here forever! My 3rd time here. Food is good with very large portions. Just like the old days where you get soup AND salad! Also, the bread is great! I ordered the Prime Rib this time, it was cooked perfectly and came with veggies + pasta with red meat sauce. The steak is pretty good as well. Tip: Show up early to get a table with no waiting. If you show up later in the evening, be prepared for a good wait.

We heard about this spot from many people and finally got to check it out!

Service was good. Family style is a unique twist nowadays. Food was excellent. Price was amazing — but be aware CASH ONLY. (There is an ATM on site )

Calamari steak ($3 extra on the side), salmon, prime rub, minestrone soup was all a hit. Hubs LOOOVED the horseradish…he called it stallionradish

This place is a hidden gem and a staple to Antioch. The prime rib is amazing and the prices are amazing for the amount of food you get. Bread, minestrone soup, salad, prime rib, veggies and noodles. Going to be missed!
