Ate here on a vacation to the resort. Wait staff is top tier. Restaurant wasn’t crowded so it was a nice feel and not a long wait. Food was full of flavor and portioned very well. One had the smash burger 10/10, one had the salmon 10/10. Two of us ate the pastas and although incredibly delicious it’s incredibly robust in flavor and cream so it makes it hard to eat. The serving could feed the whole table which I guess could be a plus!! Overall an incredible place

Beautiful spot, amazing staff!! Generous portions and reasonable prices. Blackened Shrimp Caesar salad was a little heavy on the dressing but otherwise perfect. Shrimp were cooked perfectly. Blackened chicken & mushroom linguini was amazing. Cheesy, rich sauce and plenty of it. And yes, the hush puppies are great! 4 only because we got Bloody Marys that were made with a weak mix of mostly tomato juice. Overall great experience and would definitely be back!

Never imagined I would have one of the best tasting breakfasts I ever had at this hotel restaurant. The generous omelets were packed with goodness and the home fries were THE best I ever had. Super service and lovely setting. Don’t hesitate to try!

We had an awesome experience at the on site restaurant at Bluegreen. The food was absolutely amazing and the views of the lake were top notch, a perfect setting for a relaxing meal. The buffalo chicken wrap was packed with flavor and one of the best I have had. Our group also tried the pasta dishes and everyone loved them. We even overheard other tables praising the pasta, which says a lot.
The only small downside was that there was no discount offered for Bluegreen members. That was a little surprising since many of the local restaurants gave us a discount without even asking. Still, that did not take away from how great everything else was. Definitely check it out while you are there.

I did not anticipate the food here being very good. It was astounding how good the food was! We ordered it to go to take it back to our cabin. Fast efficient service and prices are very reasonable for the amount of food that you get! We ordered baked potatoes with our chop steaks and expected them to be small but they both were huge! Also the flavor was awesome. We even ate the skins and they were delicious. I would definitely eat here every single time we stay at this resort. Anyone living in the area should also give this place a try. Beautiful view of the lake from the restaurant if you’re dining in. Two thumbs up!

First time eating dinner here and the food was delicious. They forgot the gravy with onions on one of the dishes and had to wait a good while to bring it out. The room definitely gets loud when it’s full of dinners. They definitely need to look in to some kind of sound panels to make it not as loud. They have a bar but only server beer and wine.

Food was pretty good. Baked beans, hush puppies, and salmon are delicious. The steak wasn’t great. A bit overcooked. The dessert was okay. Not a fan of the brownie. There is no alcohol. The staff was nice and a bonus for the chef coming out too. Pretty good for just opening.

Service was rather unprofessional – several servers made me and my family feel uncomfortable and unwelcome by snide comments and bad attitudes. The food was honestly disappointing; it seemed of poor quality. I would be very willing to pay higher prices for ingredients sourced from organic or otherwise sustainably sourced produce. The carrot cake was good, but not worth $8 a slice unless it is organic and fair trade certified in my opinion. I ate here several times over a four day weekend, and each time my orders took so long that I wanted to leave by the time it arrived.
Two different nights my steak was raw. Two separate nights my food did not come out until nearly an hour after my family had finished eating.
The last time I ate there I became violently ill that evening, as did the rest of my family.
Servers were often joking loudly, screeching, and horse-playing during the evening when my family and other patrons patiently waited far too long for our food.
If Gordon Ramsey were to ever revive his show Kitchen Nightmares, I strongly suggest visiting Mac’s Kitchen & Catering in Gordonsville, VA.

My husband and I have ate at Mac’s twice. Once for dinner, once take-out for lunch. Both times both service and food was great! My husband said the cheesesteak sandwich was the best one he has had.
