I was extremely disappointed with my experience at Mack’s. The attitude alone was enough to make me not want to return. Customer service matters, and unfortunately, it was completely lacking here. On top of that, being charged nearly $80 for wings is outrageous — especially when the order was mixed with whole wings and wingettes without explanation. If I’m paying premium prices, I expect clear communication, consistency, and respect. None of that happened. Definitely not worth the money or the frustration.

Concern
This was my First time visiting this establishment I’m here in STL doing an Urban Development and I was referred to Mack’s Chicken, Customer service from a Caucasian was thumbs down, from the time I stepped in till the time I left and the funny part about it, is he knew this was my first time there because I ask for hot sauce and he said they don’t have or give hot sauce for they chicken, he then handed me each meal In small separate brown bags & I’m like do u have any Big BAGS he said no they don’t have and for me not to close the bags or it was make the chicken soft and not crispy. His whole demeanor was not Welcoming at all. I feel so sorry for the people in that community that pay this company for food because if I got that unwelcoming attitude from him I definitely know others do as well. The Health Department look like they need to pay This place a visit. I wouldn’t not support Mack’s Chicken anytime anymore when I do development projects in STL.

I stopped by Mack’s chicken . I got the 3piece meal . The rolls you have to buy separately the rolls don’t come with the meal. The chicken was good and crispy seasoned good. Shout out to the cook!

The owner is rude. Too rude to be spending your hard earned money there. The only reason this place has the amount of stars it has is because of the chicken. It’s seasoned really good and all but not good enough to put up with a nasty attitude like his ESPECIALLY for those ridiculous prices!!

it wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t good either. the food was ok. not worth 17.99 for an 8 piece wing meal. if you haven’t visited before you would be confused about what door to walk in, where to order and where to hear your number being called, where to pick up your order. If you wanted to eat at a local chicken place this would be ok if there were no other options. at least it didn’t take long, but we came on a Thursday and it wasn’t crowded.

Fire Chicken and Fry Basket!
This was our first time here, hadn’t heard anything about this place prior to this visit. The sign caught my attention. Walk in, short wait to order food. I was advised that the 6pc Memphis Wing basket would take about 18mins to prepare. I ordered (2) 3pc dark meals, chicken n waffles and a side of mashed potatoes.
Hunny… WEEELLLLLLL worth the 10min wait and I’m glad I stopped! Chicken is seasoned perfectly by blessed and anointed hands. Fries were so good. But the waffles! Fresh batter. The eggs… cooked with butter and was just so good! Side of mash… FIRE!
I couldn’t stop eating even tho I was full. This is our new spot. Everything you see here was $25.

Just make sure that you check your change when the Asian guy is there. He gave us back the incorrect change twice and not the right amount of food. In one incident, 40 dollars was given for a $27 order, but he only gave $10 as change until I corrected him. When he is not there, we are treated ethically, with the food having a better quality. The first time going had us coming back, now we just don’t go anymore because of him. I gave two stars because of the other workers being nice. Also, a 19.99 chicken dinner meal should not come to $27.

The rudest Owner in the world for someone who makes such great Chicken and has such great clientele to treat your customers the way that this man does is a mess! The food is always great, but the customer service is never up to par, the owner always has an attitude as if you’re doing him a disservice by stopping with him. I love this places food, but as far as the owner goes, and the appreciation to his customers it SUCKS! If the chicken wasn’t top-tier, I’d never come here and I wouldn’t suggest anyone come here! Also inside of the establishment, definitely not a place that I would suggest anyone that hasn’t been here already just go and try.
