This is a great restaurant—very clean and welcoming for families. Our waitress was friendly, helpful, and made sure the kids were comfortable. The food was delicious. Compared to places in the busier tourist spots like Hill City and Custer, you can tell this place truly values its customers.

If I could give 0 stars for service I would. Me and my boyfriend came in for dinner, we got seated right next to the bar. I had an amazing pulled pork Sandwich and my boyfriend got a burger, the food was so good no complaints on that, but our service on the other hand was probably the worst ive ever gotten. We got the teenager treatment bad, our server came to our table all of four times; once to welcome us and give us water, another time to take our order, then she came by and saw 2 empty cups on the table and only took my boyfriends cup to refill it, (this caused my boyfriend to stand at the bar for about 15 minutes trying to get me a refill, i watched the bartender look at him about 5 different times and she didnt even bother to ask him what he needed, just straight up ignored him) then the last time she came to our table was to give us the bill. Now at first I tried to give the benefit of the doubt because it was busy that night, but our server attended to the table next to us the entire night, but any time we tried to get her attention we never could. I have never left a restaurant so upset due to service in my life.

Update: I have eaten here many times now and am usually satisfied. Sadly, the management has changed recently and it seems some other things as well. While the staff was still top notch the amount & quality of food might be dropping. I recently ordered a “large” Caesar salad and it was something you would get as a side salad most places and not something that costs almost $20. I was very disappointed and really shook whether I would came back again. Hopefully they are better next time if I do decide to come back.
First time here and it was a fantastic experience. We were immediately seated, the staff was very nice, and the food was delicious. I will definitely be coming back here when in town. And you have to try the flavored teas. The peach and huckleberry ones are fantastic.

Ok, first of all this place has always had a really great atmosphere about it! Cozy and comfortable seating with really nice lighting definitely sets the mood. The food is also really good and is priced adequately. The only reason this place will get a 4 star from me instead of a 5 star is the consistency of service. It’s a box of chocolates, you never know what your going to get! Our service was average at best this last time, and nonexistent the time before that! Some people have had amazing service here. This place definitely deserves your time and money. That is the most important part. They do everything really well, just wished they could work on the consistency of service between the waiters and waitresses.

We shared the Cowboy Nachos and the Smokin Q pizza between 2 adults and a toddler and took home leftovers. They brought out a little container of gold fish for our kid which was an appreciated touch while waiting for our food. The nachos are really big, 3-4 people could eat them just as a meal. Our waitress did tell us we could do a half order which we would do next time. The nachos were delicious though, cheese was spread throughout so each chip was covered. There might have actually been too much cheese if that is possible. I do with the toppings would have been as spread out. The pizza crust was flavorful and not bland, it was a thicker crust pizza and enjoyable. We will definitely be back to try more dishes here.

Love this place! I’ve been here many times now, and never had a lackluster dish here yet. In the busiest parts of the day, especially in the summer, getting a seat can take a while, but it seems like it’s that way everywhere. Their service is great, though, never had an unpleasant experience with them. They have a decent loyalty system as well, plus some delicious, cheaper “food truck” dishes. Gluten free options are available (a desert, pizza crust, dunno about burger buns). This is definitely my favorite place to eat in Rapid, and I highly recommend eating here!
