We were just passing through town and looking for a place to eat when we found this place.
We went on a weekday afternoon and it was surprisingly empty, which honestly shocked us because the food was incredible.
From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel very welcome. Everyone was friendly and attentive, and you could just feel the good energy.
My husband said the carnitas tacos were the best he’s ever had and he does not say that lightly. I ordered the birria tacos and absolutely loved them. What really stood out to us were the homemade tortillas. You can taste the difference. Very fresh and full of flavor, it took everything to another level.
I ordered their flan to go and ate it on our way home. Texture is very creamy and sweetness is just enough.
Overall, such a great experience. We only wish it was closer to us because we’d definitely be regulars.

We ordered a mix to really get a taste of what they offer: the bacon cheeseburger was juicy and perfectly cooked. The quesadillas were cheesy, crispy on the outside; definitely a must-try. The Cajun chicken sandwich had just the right amount of kick, and the chicken was tender with that smoky Cajun spice that lingers in the best way. & lastly we had their strawberry and banana French toast, it was sweet, and the perfect dessert-for-dinner moment to end the night.

Absolutely stellar Latin Breakfast platter. Also one of the best Birria tacos I’ve ever had. Large portions and fresh, homemade ingredients, at seriously unbeatable prices. The owners are incredibly friendly and accommodating. Couldn’t be happier to have a spot like Machy’s so close to home. Don’t sleep on this place!

Stopped at Ace and googled take away food near me. Machy’s latin american deli came up. Looking at the reviews and menu it was a good choice to stop by on our way back home. I had a chicken burrito and my husband had s steak tacos. Sorry did not take pictures. Absolutely delicious ! Will be ordering again very soon. Nice addition to downtown LP!

The food here is a STEAL!!! The staff is so kind and patient! There is a slight language barrier, but you’d have to be a real jerk to let that get in the way of their delicious food. DEFINITELY try their Saturday and Sunday buffet! So worth it!!!

It reminds me so much of my grandmothers house growing up. To have that accessible after such a long time is such a gift. the food is amazing, the tacos are phenomenal, the burrito beats chipotle handidly both in price and taste!
