I love the idea of this place…I was hoping for a slightly upscale place …it’s artsy, but not fancy. Most other patrons were in shorts, t shirts… looking a bit like they should be at McDonald’s. I dressed up.

We ordered drinks first. They came after our appetizers, in fact, midway through our meal. Not acceptable. It wasn’t our server, who did her best. Despite the restaurant being fairly empty, the bartender seemingly couldn’t keep up. The chicken potstickers were good. The lobster bisque bore no resemblance in presentation or taste to traditional lobster bisque. The lobster roll was mediocre, but the fries were good. One of our party had pasta with lobster, which lacked taste. Two members had the chicken Schnitzel with smashed potatoes, which was OK, but nothing particularly special. We paid a lot of money for lackluster food. I was very disappointed. Not sure we will go back. I had expected so much more.

My best culinary experience in Keene so far! I went twice and both times were delicious, unique and well made. I can tell that the chefs actually care about the food they put on the plates. The chicken pot stickers and the biscuits were so good! Great place for a date!

I came with friends from out of town and everything was perfect! We ended up staying for a couple hours and sampling almost the whole menu. Not only is everything delicious but you can tell that the utmost attention to detail is put into every aspect.

Me and my wife ordered all the specials and everything was excellent as usual. Service is always terrific, the drinks are the best in Keene. 13/10 would recommend!

First time here and it was pretty good. I had a Hawaiian layover? Pineapple refreshing summer drink with peppercorn, very good. We had the scotch egg, duck cassoulet, Korean pancakes, and trout. Overall it was pretty good. The reason why it’s not getting a five star is because there was a lack of seasoning (salt) on three of our dishes. Service is really good and I like the ambience. We were also at the bar and that was fantastic.

Servers were nice but slow. The meal took 3 hours. The salad and the pot stickers were fine. The Alfredo was undercooked, the steak was way overcooked, the stir fry was mostly carrots that were so sickeningly sweet they were inedible. We did enjoy the schnitzel. It was way overpriced for the tiny amount of food. I do not recommend!

We recently moved to the area and finally made it here the other night and wow were we blown away. The food was delicious, the staff was friendly and provided a great experience and overall the whole vibe of Machina Arts is incredible. We are going to be regulars for sure and as I am writing this review we are planning our next visit.

I’ve come to this restaurant and bar for a wedding anniversary dinner with my husband, about three special events, and a few just pop ins. It’s okay. The staff does their job but, don’t seem happy to be there or particularly welcoming. The food is meh. The decore is cold and stagnant. I do like the bathrooms and the light installation on the wall in the back. It’s one of those places that I think I’ll give another try every six months or so and then regret it afterwards. I know this sounds pretty harsh but, it’s just been my experience. I can’t detect the warm heart in it. Some folks might like that though.
