Another very nice Mexican restaurant in a very crowded field. Specializing in tacos, but has a wide range of alternatives. Food is fresh and flavorful. We went for a late lunch, but could see meeting friends here after work for a few tacos and margaritas. We had a steak burrito and a shrimp taco which had a nice sauce with a kick. Parking is not a problem now with Publix closed.

I really tried to give this place a chance. I must say the staff was great. Excellent customer service, hence the 2 stars. The restaurant? Super clean. The food? A tragedy in three tortillas. I paid $21 for shrimp fajitas and got what felt like a skillet of onions and bell peppers with nine shrimp sprinkled in like they were on ration. Three shrimp per tortilla…the small ones at that. To make matters worse, the shrimp and veggies had about as much seasoning as a glass of tap water. And the salsa? Let’s call it what it was: tomato juice with cilantro sprinkles.
So yes, service and cleanliness were great. But the food? Nope. Needless to say, I won’t be back.

Ive only been on taco tuesdays kuz ya cant beat 2 tacos and a margarita for $10! The employees are nice and the place looks good. Ive never looked at the menu, but when my friend brings home the regular priced tacos they are huge, worth the $4. The pico was great very fresh.

I really enjoyed this restaurant! The tacos were incredible – I tried the pastor, asada, and cochinita, and each one had such amazing flavor. The pastor was perfectly seasoned and juicy, the asada was tender with a great char, and the cochinita was packed with rich, delicious spices. On top of that, the service was excellent – everyone was friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend if you’re looking for authentic and flavorful tacos with great hospitality.

Not a single Mexican works at this taco place which tells you how unauthentic this place is. There was a young kid making the orders and what looked to be a Cuban guy training him. Ordered carne asada tacos and the meat looked like it was defrosted and boiled. No seasoning or flavor of any kind. Meat was so wet it ripped through the tacos. I gave two stars because the bartender was VERY nice and understanding and refunded me the tacos and his service was excellent.

Being from Chicago my expectations for good authentic Mexican tacos is very high and in Atlanta. It seems hard to come by a good taco spot. Will this new hidden gym is everything and more exceedingly delicious I would highly recommend 10 out of 10 Machete taco company . There’s free parking The staff are very friendly and welcoming. It is a great Beautiful atmosphere. They offer you water when you come in and you’re served complementary chips and salsa. The tacos I had were steak, and the steak. Tacos are grilled to perfection and very tasty & tender comes with cilantro, onion, and lime.

Great new taco and tortas place in Shallowford plaza. Lots of other Mexican food on the menu, but we had the tacos. Fish taco and chochinita taco were especially good. Really friendly staff. Lots of carry out orders while we were there, so it’s becoming popular.

Nice service but didn’t love the food. I think we had tortas? One chicken and one steak and they gave us one bag of chips on the side. It was really messy and didn’t have a lot of natural flavor. It’s definitely not on the cheaper side of food but moderate portion. I can’t say I wouldn’t try their food again maybe something different next time.

This little taco shop has some of the best tortilla chips I have ever eaten, even comparing favorably to those from Baja California.
The rest of our food was tasty. The tacos were juicy and flavorful. The salsa options were fresh and vibrant (in addition to being spicy). The Huevos Motuleños were great.
