Had one of the best dinner experiences here. Engulfed in culture and class. E our server was funny and kind! The food was THE BEST and I highly recommend!! There was zero wait even in a day like Mother’s Day and was quickly greeted with warm DELICIOUS bread.

My favorite family owned restaurant in Fort Worth! Without a doubt, the best Italian food I’ve had in Texas! Great ambience, great service, and delicious food! When you’re here, you’re family!

Found this on a whim when reading reviews and saw they had veal parm. It’s definitely hidden in the corner of a plaza and we weren’t sure what to expect. Great food, big portions and low price. The decor is a bit dated but it was a good setting for a great old school Italian meal. The bread served seemed more homemade than most places. Veal parm, linguine with clams in white wine sauce and chicken arrabiata were all enjoyed by our group.

This place is truly a hidden gem! My daughter and I went out seeking Italian food that was not an Olive Garden. We chose this restaurant based on their reviews, and I am so glad we did! We were greeted at the door, and welcomed in. The room was inviting, clean and the lighting was dim (which I prefer). Dinner started with the garlic bread appetizer and it was great! Not too much garlic or oily. The posted picture is the Macaluso Fettuccini. The food was amazing! The sauces were flavorful and light. My daughter had the Tour of Italy and loved it! Dinner ended with an unplanned dessert of a slice lemoncello cake. The cake was so light and fluffy! The service is amazing. They were very attentive and checked to make sure everything was well. We love Italian food and this was so much better than we thought it would be! I am going to tell everyone I can about this restaurant. We will definitely return!

I’m not sure how anyone rates Macaluso’s anything but 5 star. I have been several times and food, service and atmosphere just could not be any better. Today is my mom’s 82nd birthday, so she deserves Macaluso’s. Our crabmeat stuffed salmon and shrimp fettuccine were excellent. So tasty. And homemade warm rolls. Mmm. Topped it off with limoncello cake – light and airy with a touch of whip cream and powder sugar. And a chocolate frozen bomba (?) With decadent dark chocolate and vanilla ice cream with sliced almonds and cherries in a chocolate shell. Wow. Just couldn’t stop eating until both were devoured. Service is always warm and inviting. Atmosphere is refined, but welcoming overlooking a beautiful secluded park. Don’t change a thing. Perfect relaxing meal. As always.

We enjoyed our experience at Macaluso’s today. Food was good. Service was excellent. We had EJ as our server and enjoyed her personality and her recommendations. Establishment was clean and welcoming. The chicken genovese was the table favorite. All dishes were good. The Garlic bread with tomatoes and cheese was a great appetizer. The Chicken Sunrise was a subtle creamy sauce with sun dried tomatoes and mushrooms. We would recommend and would return. Spacious, clean single gender specific restrooms. Has a lovely garden patio with seating ability.

I want so badly to give this place a higher rating. We heard good things originally about this place. I’ll start off by saying this place needs to revisit their service. I know the food industry has been hit hard and has been struggling to have enough employees. So I get it. HOWEVER, it does. It excuse rudeness and also expecting one waiter to attend to 10 tables. The other 2 waitress were helping hand out food and bread and handing out menus.
We came in and they said the wait would be 30 mins. The place was far from packed. They said they couldn’t put tables together which is fine but there was another family of 5 at a 4 top. They sat us when another couple came in. We waited at our table for our drink order to be take for like 20 mins. We asked for bread 3 times while they brought out fresh bread for everyone else and even bread and drink for people seated after us. The waiter gave us snide remarks when ordering. Mind you we had two Little’s and I asked for marinara and noodles only and he made a snide comment about it. They never refilled our drinks. It took 30 mins after we finished to get to go boxes and then even longer for for the check. My husband had to take the kids to the car because they are 3&6 and were DONE. Sad part is this was my Dads birthday dinner.
Now the food… was actually REALLY GOOD! Fresh and the sauce was so good! Their bread was fresh and fluffy. My kids loved the spaghetti. The chicken strips was a little iffy for picky eater but it’s hard for him to find anything he likes. I recommend everything we got to eat.
I just hope maybe they can hire some more people and rethink their customer service. Maybe one day we will be back and I can update but as for now… I leave it at 3 stars
