Had breakfast there today and met the friendly husband and wife owners. Nice old fashioned diner atmosphere with booths. Great service and reasonable prices. I had the corned beef hash eggs benedict, which were excellent!

Picture this, it’s a light flurry or snow and your stomach says it’s time for breakfast and you find yourself walking into Mac Daddy’s Diner when a curious aroma of familiar foods floods your olfactory senses.
Below are the remnants of my savory stuffie Benedict with a crispy stuffed quahog with more meat than your average quahog and a perfect outer layer of crispy deliciousness, poached eggs and homemade hollandaise sauce and a generous helping of seasoned and crisped to perfection home fries.
We arrived 30 minutes before closing, not realizing we had cut it so close and they were so gracious and hospitable to us and welcomed us to their restaurant. Great team here, delicious food, and a fun decor all over the building. I cannot wait to eat my way through the rest of the menu.
10/10 will go again and cannot wait to eat my way through the entire menu.

Came in for the second time with my man and our toddler. And the owners are truly so so nice they remembered us from the first time and came over to talk to us. We love the food but the atmosphere and people make it best. Definetly will keep returning we love it there!!

Now this is what a “Greasy Spoon” is all about. To call a diner a “Greasy Spoon” in the true sense of the words is a real compliment. A “ Greasy Spoon” has everything you want in a real diner. Great food, atmosphere, friendly & efficient service and banter with the staff. MAC Daddy’s has all of that. Breakfast of poached eggs were prepared perfectly. Bacon was delicious and home fries amazing. (Note to chef: Thanks for not putting paprika on the home fries. I don’t know why some chefs think it belongs there, it doesn’t) Coffee also hit the mark as it was bold & hot. New owners who know how breakfast should be made and how to serve it. I truly hope they can make it through the winter so they will be able to enjoy the benefit of the uptick in people in the Spring and Summer. Do yourself a favor and support this new business, your palate will thank me.

I was on the Cape to go to the MSPCA clinic and stumbled across this charming, retro diner. My friend and I had a delicious relaxed meal while my cats were at the vet.
There was a lot to choose from and I had a hard time deciding — it all looked so good. I had the vegetable omelette – cooked perfectly, nice and soft, the vegetables were nicely sauteed. The side potatoes were chunky but tender and not overcooked. A rare treat was cinnamon raisin toast thickly sliced and buttery. My friend had the Eggs Benedict and loved it. The owners were warm and welcoming. I live in New York City but I had to come to the Cape in the middle of winter to find a wallet-friendly true diner with great food. I will be back!!
