Since 1994, M.T. Pockets Bar has been a fixture on Hertel Avenue in Buffalo, New York. It’s a great place to socialize with good people and listen to music with a casual atmosphere, friendly staff, quality food and drinks at a reasonable price, including our world famous steak sandwich!

I went there for my boi Pete’s 21st. They gave him a whole portion of the bar specifically for the celebration and had amazing service throughout. The bartenders were great and took care of us no problem. Highly recommend.

Off the beaten path, but not too far. Yet certainly out of tourist district. The wings and burgers were awesome. The bar made, Cheryl, who cooked the food, was just as awesome.
The other customers in our vicinity were real sweetheart people, friendly, and fun to be around.
This place certainly made it an enjoyable, buffalo experience!

Super Bowl Sunday .. it’s funny they had food for everyone in the bar except the black people. Yep they asked them to pay while everyone else ate free today! This place is so weird.

Well I went there after another bar to grab some food, went to the bathroom (to take selfies ngl), came out to my friend and some staff member rushes over to me demanding ID regardless of the fact I haven’t even ordered anything or tried to yet. I give it him, he asks how old I am, I tell him I’m almost 29, he basically says I’m lying and can’t be there, and tries walking away with my ID, I argue and recite my birthday. Got my ID back and left. Maybe if your employees don’t know math they shouldn’t be checking IDs idk. 2024-1995 is 29.

Last of the loser bars on Hertel. The worst clientele from the dives that have closed migrated here. Terrible food and the bartender only serves her friends. Violent behavior is common even during the day. Stal away and stay safe
