M&m is great. Been coming here for a long time. I read through some of these reviews. A lot of the 1 stars usually started with “we just moved here”. Well, welcome to San Marcos. We may not do fancy like you may have done where you came from. M&M is a home style breakfast taco. Plain and simple. While interior style taquerias and street taco stands certainly have a place, M&M does too. M&M is what your grandmother would make each morning. It nurses hung over college kids and is a quick and easy breakfast for us townies on the way to work. It’s just that, that’s what you’re getting here and it’s comfortable, it taste like a loved one’s kitchen at home. We love M&M, I probably go too much but that’s fine and I’ll keep going. If you want some Michelin star taco experience then go back to Austin, please don’t try to turn our San Marcos into some fancy over priced city. M&M is a proper representation of our town and I love it that way, lots of us do. Also, bacon and bean has been working real good for me recently.

Who is keeping this place in business? I ordered the bean and potato taco — their Wednesday special — and the potatoes were mashed potatoes! There was absolutely no salt or seasoning. I also tried the potato and egg taco, and it was completely flavorless. Not even the tortillas tasted good. Probably the worst breakfast tacos I’ve ever had. Eat at your own risk.

Food is great, out of ALL of the places with “tacos” these are the better ones, and are priced just right. Other places charge between $0.50-$1.00 more, and the ingredients and amount of food in them are not remotely close to the taco corner, so yeah.. well priced with good amount in them.

We just moved here and I was excited to see a taqueria, but it was really bad. I was shocked. The lady taking the order came across very unfriendly, but ♀️. But the tacos were completely tasteless, dry (potato egg and cheese) and not even hot enough to melt the cold cheese tossed on top of the breakfast tacos. And the salsa was TERRIBLE. Like so so bad I don’t even know how they did it. I was like water with a maybe a bit of juice from a cut tomato thrown at it. Not to mention I LOVE good chili and smother my tacos in it so I asked for a second for my second taco which was an additional .81cents … for the tiny container. This also would be not a big deal if the salsa was good, but it was so bad. I was disappointed. I ate a bit of the refried beans i got to kill the hunger pains and then went home and made my own later. It is a place I would never go to again.

Stopped by for the first time ever. It looked pretty busy with cars coming and going constantly. So thought it would probably be good. I had two tacos chorizo and egg and bacon and egg. They were very good and filling. And the service was fast. If I am ever in this area again I will definitely stop by.

Best Tex-Mex Tacos in town , I’ve been going to M&M Tacos since 1997 . Awesome customer service , friendly fast service . Fresh hand made Flour Tortillas definitely taste like Mom use to make . Keep up the good work M&M .

SAVE YOUR MONEY GO TO LOLI’S.. Bean and cheese is the easiest taco in the world but M&M manages to mess it up. Tacos had no flavor, the lady that served me was as rude as she could be. I was the only customer but she manages to make me feel like my 2-taco -order ruined her day. Aside from the terrible service the food tasted horrible. There was no flavor in my taco I’d legit have had better if I scraped beans out the garbage and wrapped it up myself. At least then I wouldn’t have to deal with making a stop to the worst taco place in San Marcos and save myself from buying dog food in a tortilla.

Tortillas have been better here. Still dont get the 1 sauce per 2 tacos. Carne guisada was cold. Bean and cheese very dry. Bacon and egg looked like sausage and egg.
