I like the tropical-like umbrellas and flower pots at their outdoor seating.
It’s hopping despite its dishes being pricey in comparison to other restaurants.
Their thin pizza looked very good. Two in our group were satisfied with their salmon. One of us did not finish his hamburger and a fourth ate one of three quesadilla pieces. My crispy fried chicken was a sandwich and a breast.

The food here was fantastic! I highly recommend their steak dinners, especially with their gravy because it is delicious!
I also really liked how clean this place was going in, & how attentive and sweet all the staff were. We had actually just left from a really bad spot and this place saved our night.

Had a very good dinner at the bar. Ed is a great bartender, and very welcoming. They had live music going which was a good touch. This is going to be come my local spot since I am new to the area.

I ordered take-out burger med rare (comes w/fries) and potato skins($44.00).I waited a couple of minutes. The fries were undercooked and cold. The cook on the burger was uneven. The potato skins were a baked potato cut in half with toppings. This lapse in judgment was a clear reminder as to why I stopped eating at MJs

Been coming out East for years and have passed This restaurant many times. Finally stopped! Great burgers and J had the steak jerk which was great! Our waiter Joaquin was amazing. The entire place is immaculate even the mustard bottles. Will def be back ❤️

Great spot for casual drinks and food. The boneless wings were tasty and almost like untreated chicken bites, the restrooms were clean, the ambiance was not overly loud. Gluten free options are available and parking is available.

Terrible experience with MJD. We were visiting friends and stopped to try this restaurant. Our server was friendly but forgot what we asked for several times. Had to ask other employees for sides that we didn’t get and more refills that we never got. We ordered 2 steaks in our group. The ribeye was delicious while the filet was inedible. It had a funny smell and taste. We own restaurants, so we tried not to complain, but there was something definitely wrong with this meat. The server took the plate away and said he would speak to the owner. He came back and told us that they wouldn’t make another one, nor would they remove it from the bill. If we wanted, we could choose something else on the menu. The server was apologetic, but the owner didn’t want to speak with us. When you pay $70 for a meal, you should get what you paid for, not replace it with a $15 order of wings. I’m just disappointed in this restaurant and its crew. I would not recommend this place, not because we didn’t get items with our meal but because the owner couldn’t be bothered by our complaint. We weren’t locals.

Wonderful as always. We come here every summer with the family. Shame the games room is gone but have heard the pizzas are fantastic. We didn’t have them this time but will try next for sure. Love that each day has a specials. Shrimp night is my favourite. Kids love the food and it’s always so great whatever we have. Outside seating was lovely and staff are very attentive and friendly.
