OMG! We recommend this restaurant 100%!!! We came back to back (Thur/Fri) during the Thanksgiving holiday. We didn’t wait long for seating and both days we got the same booth.
We did have to wait for service a little longer than we thought. We kept looking for someone. We liked our waiter. But both days they never said their name. So, we said hi what’s your name (first).
The food, the portions, the taste = AMAZING!!! The scrapple, OMG! It was fried to PERFECTION!! Betta than mama’s! So much we had to get containers to take home each day.
The food was fresh! Yummy as well! Everyone seemed very nice, family friendly atmosphere for sure! The guys will love they have flat-screen T.V. Our table was watching the football game.
We loved the size of the diner & their music. We wanted to dance. We enjoyed the service and food so much we told the manager before we left.
We WILL be back!

Very big place, and on a Saturday morning they got us seated immediately even though they were very busy. Waitress was an absolute gem. Food came out incredibly quickly and was amazing!! Portions were large. HIGHLY recommend to anyone in the area! We’ll be in again anytime we’re in the area!

The portions were very good. The downfall was when the burgers came out the buns were saturated in grease. The fries tasted as they were cooked in fish grease. The appetizer of mozzarella sticks was the best part of the entire meal. We ordered a sweet tea and it came out as a Lipton tea that was made as a fountain drink. Not very appealing to a customer that is not familiar with the diner. My wife decided to do a flight of Bloody Mary and the bartender was doing an interview so she had to wait for that to be completed before being able to enjoy it. She said that they were not the best, as it tasted like they skimped on the alcohol. We had our daughter with us and they did not even ask us if we needed a kids menu, they just assumed that she would order off the adult menu. We will not be back and I would not recommend this place if you don’t know it.

This is my favorite diner. The food is excellent! Service is good. I’ve never had anything that wasn’t very good. A Few favorites are: wings, chef salad, burgers, and California omelet. My daughter loves the s’more Belgian waffle, the chunky monkey Belgian waffle, the Cannoli Belgian waffle and the strawberries and cream Belgian waffle. Highly recommend this place!

Came on a weekday evening so it wasn’t too busy. Big diner vibes obviously and a massive menu to complete. Went with the crab cake sandwich, which was just alright. I’d say it wasn’t worth the cost, but service was great the whole evening for my big group.

Great service, amazing atmosphere, and delicious food! The waitress was friendly and attentive. The food was some of the best eggs benedict I have eaten at a diner. The prices where affordable and large portions. Everything was wonderful!

We met at the Lyndon Diner this afternoon for lunch with long time friends we hadn’t seen in a while. Our hopes were up.
The food, ambiance and decor were awesome.
Our table service started off strong with a super polite and friendly wait professional. It didn’t take too long for all our food to arrive, and it was good and plentiful. In particular, I liked the crab corn chowder and would recommend that.
We had to ask several times for items we had requested to be brought to the table – lemons for a drink and also steak sauce – but no big deal.
After a while, we got a little sense of abandonment, as our empty plates and bowls stayed on the table past the time the check came. No drink refills offered. IMHO, it’s not only about wait staff, but whether a floor manager and table bussing are on it, or not. The table server never returned to ask about a dessert order.
Next, my thanks to Joey, who agreed to take our group photo with a big smile!
Anyway, overall a happy experience. We will return for another opportunity when next in the York area.
