We love trying new things in Omaha. I’m a big pizza fan! I would definitely recommend Lyle’s. Super fresh and awesome environment for a drink or a date.

First time at Lyle’s, and a great first impression. Went in for lunch on a rainy Sunday so the foot traffic was light. Staff was very polite and attentive. Read some previous reviews and opted to go with the sausage pizza. The reviews were all correct and it was fantastic. A great overall pizza with a full flavor pallet. Look forward to future dining visits to try other offerings.

Went here to grab a quick bite for dinner. Sat at the bar and had a caesar salad and pepperoni pizza. The pizza had delicious cupped pepperonis, and they were plentiful! The half caesar was well dressed and was huge, even at just the half size. A little on the pricey side, but a good treat every once in a while for a delicious pizza. Great drink selection and great server.

Service was the main reason for this review.
We came in around 1:30 pm for lunch after seeing the lunch specials advertised on their website (salad + pizza combo for $20 and a $10 cheese pizza). Before ordering, we confirmed with our waitress that the lunch specials were still available, and she said yes. We ordered a chopped salad with a margherita pizza, along with a cheese pizza.
We were served a Caesar salad instead of the chopped salad. While that wasn’t a big deal and we didn’t complain, it was the first mix-up. The pizzas were decent—good crispy crust on the bottom—but nothing standout or “best in town.”
After finishing our meal, we asked for a cookie and then received the check. The cheese pizza was charged at $16 instead of the advertised $10. While the cookie ($3) wasn’t listed, the total was still higher than it should have been. When we asked about the cookie, the waitress claimed the chef had burned it, which didn’t seem accurate since we were seated directly in front of the kitchen—it appeared it simply hadn’t been rung in.
After about a 15-minute wait, the cookie finally arrived. The waitress then took our card and, without notifying us or providing an updated check, added the cookie charge—despite us already being overcharged for the pizza. The lack of communication and transparency really left a sour taste.
Lastly, neither bathroom has a changing table. We had to change our baby in the booth, which was far from ideal, and I can’t imagine trying to manage that with a toddler.
Overall, the food was fine, but the service and billing issues made the experience disappointing.

Went in for dinner last week after hearing a few local recommendations. The place had a relaxed vibe and didn’t feel rushed, which I appreciated. We ordered a large pepperoni and one veggie pizza to share. The crust was cooked evenly and had a nice chew, not too thick or thin. Toppings were spread out well and didn’t slide off, which happens at some spots. Service was friendly and pretty attentive, even though it got a bit busy later on. Prices felt fair for the portion sizes. Overall, a solid pizza place I’d be fine going back to again.

Lyle’s is truly a gem. From the well made pizzas, to the excellent service, and comfortable ambience, there’s lot to love!

We got their pepperoni pizza and Ceasar salad and that both hit the spot for us. I also got a side of hot honey which was extra delicious.

Do yourself a favor and come support this wonderful local pizza shop!

It was so good we couldn’t wait to dig in before taking a picture. From the service, salad, and pizza everything was SO good.

This is a mixed review. Lyle’s Pizzeria uses a sourdough crust. My family and I didn’t care for the taste of the crust but that is personal preference. You may like it.

We ordered the supreme and the mushroom (x2) pizzas and the chopped salad. The toppings were generous and the cheese blends were tasty. The crust was hand tossed and the chew on the crust had a great mouth feel. The pizzas only came in one size – 12″.

The restaurant is small but that gave it a cozy feel. There was not any background music or TVs blaring, that I recall, which would make a pleasant dine-in experience.

We did order carry-out for which they added an additional 10% fee on the total order and the happy hour special prices apply to dine-in only. Both were nominal, in either case, so not a show stopper.

Overall, I would recommend the pizza. We are willing to try it again, the potato and leek pizza sounds intriguing, now that we know what to expect from the taste of the crust.

My sister and I stopped by on a whim. We are from Texas. The atmosphere is nice and the staff were very kind and polite. We ordered a pizza and 2 Cesar Salads. The salad was the best Cezar salad I’ve ever eaten. We each ordered the half size and it was a more than an ample serving. Loved the crust on the pizza. If we lived here Lyle’s would be our go to pizza place.

We’ve been once before. And the service and food food quite good, but literally [he only reason we go is because I have a food allergy they advertise gluten free crusts. Tonight we went in and were told not only were they out of gluten free crusts, but that the run out regularly and that they only order “maybe 20 of them at a time.” It’s hard to want to go to a place when they advertise something that they apparently rarely have actually in stock. You’d think if they sold out so often they’d recognize the demand and order more. But I guess not.

The server was nice about it. And the food, if you can get it, is good. But I’m not sure I’ll be going back.
