This was an elevated Lebanese food experience! I’ve eaten Lebanese food for 45 years and this was some of the best! My husband has eaten it all his life and he agreed. We ordered apps (grape leaves, meat kibbe, pumpkin kibbe, hummus) ; fatoush salad; and both a fish and meat entree. All accompanied by fresh baked pita bread and dips. And of course, dessert. And it’s BYOB. All served by attentive staff in an art-filled stylish atmosphere.

Honestly speaking, this was the best dining experience I’ve ever had. I actually come from the Middle East, and I was so impressed when I had dinner at Layla’s it tasted even better than back home.
Not only did it taste amazing, but the food presentation was out of this world. The atmosphere was cozy and fancy at the same time, and the staff were great. In every single detail at Layla’s, you can truly feel the effort behind it.

Delicious Lebanese cuisine. Authentic with generous portions and friendly staff. Only two issues are no water service you need to order bottle no tap. Luckily I had a bottle with me to split between me and my guest. Parking is misleading as the garage says free parking but the free spots are dedicated to the leasing office and you need to pre install an application to enter the garage.

We went to Lyla for Sunday lunch based on my friend’s recommendation . It was six of us including two children.
We had a wonderful time.
The service was excellent, everybody was extremely nice and friendly.
The food was very fresh and tasty.
I had home -cooked Lebanese dishes before and I have to admit every dish I tried in Lyla was equally delicious.
It felt like being invited to Lebanese home for lunch.
My favorite was hummus , with home made pita bread , red pepper dip ,cauliflower and spicy fish.
My husband loved lamb chops and we all enjoyed rice pudding desert.
Kids loved spicy potatoes.
The restaurant decor is also very welcoming.
I love fresh flowers arrangements for the tables.
We will definitely be back very soon !

From the moment I walked in, it was clear that great care and intention had gone into designing this restaurant. Every detail of the décor felt thoughtfully curated. I found myself admiring the small touches throughout the space, each one reminding me of home in Beirut, Lebanon, and creating an immediate sense of warmth and familiarity. It’s been quite some time since I’ve experienced truly authentic Mediterranean cuisine of this caliber—flavors that transported me back to meals lovingly prepared by my grandmother. If you’re planning to dine here, I highly recommend the maklouba, which was exceptional and deeply authentic in flavor. The baba ghanouj, paired with their freshly made pita, was also outstanding.

Originally had a reservation at 6:00 for a party of two; However the restaurant was able to accommodate five of us at 5:15 on a Saturday evening. The restaurant is small & the tables are close to each other and a bit tight. But the atmosphere is very nice and the staff are all very friendly. We ordered a bunch of appetizers to share and they came out promptly. All the apps were delicious-from the hummus to the spicy potatoes, cheese arayes and the two salads-the tabbouleh & fattoush were very fresh and tasty. I’ve always wanted to find a place that served homemade fresh pita and this is the spot! The pita was hot, airy and light! Our main courses consisted of the lamb chops, which my husband said were very good, the Spicy Herb Fish that my son said was excellent, the mixed grill and the filet mignon kebabs. All the meats were very flavorful. Only complaint we had was that the two orders of filet mignon kebabs were just warm and needed to be hotter. Wishing the owners a successful business as it is apparent that they put their heart and soul into what they do❤️ .

I’m almost hesitant to give my review because we won’t be able to get a reservation! Only open 2 nights and a Full house. The food was absolutely delicious, the ambiance super cool, sexy french background music, and every dish was so authentic and SO very tasty. We’ve decided it’s the best Mediterranean restaurant in Morristown hands downs. Every dish was perfection. Heard the weekend brunch is amazing as well we will be frequent patrons. Oops I almost forgot to mention… the staff! They were so charming + professional!
