Reviews
The prices are reasonable.
Everyone is packed in like sardines but the place is nice inside and has a nice atmosphere.
Service was efficient although a few more smiles would not go amiss.
Poor start when the first 2 beers I ordered were out of stock.
On to the food. Its very much about presentation.
Chicken satay started was very good.
Chicken Kung po had a rather strange tasting sauce compared to usual but was tasty enough.
Price point was what you would expect.
Definitely a favourite when in Glasgow. Thank you x
We went for prawn toast, salt and pepper fries, calamari and the sizzling filet steaks. Everything was delicious, good quality and fresh.
The cocktails were delicious too!
Definitely recommend for a romantic date night
The lunchtime menu has lots to choose from & was really good value for money, the restaurant was really busy and im glad I booked in advance which id recommend.
We’ll definitely be back & we’re going to do the evening meal next time.
Absolutely delicious with very friendly & attentive staff, very good value for money.

I went here a few times in 2013/14 and really liked it but this was my first time here since it’s been done up, and I won’t be returning.
Firstly, they’ve put too many tables into the space so you’re really close to your neighbours, and all the tables have knives and forks when you sit down; we had to request chopsticks twice.
We ordered salt and chilli soft shell crab and yuk sung for starters. The crab was nice, but a little too oily, and the yuk sung was too salty, but it was fine.
For mains, we went for twice-cooked pork belly in black bean sauce and the monkfish claypot. Twice-cooked pork is a favourite of ours at other restaurants and we hadn’t had it in black bean sauce before. It did not have the usual texture of twice-cooked pork and was just a standard pork belly stir fry – but too salty. We were looking forward to the monkfish claypot but it was also too salty and the pieces of monkfish were deep-fried scampi pieces instead of unbattered fish, which was disappointing.
We ordered a portion of egg-fried rice and one of plain jasmine rice and the fried rice was much, much too salty. On its own it was noticeable, but when combined with the main dishes it was inedible. It sounds like we don’t like salty food but we really do, this was just insane!
The service was friendly and incredibly quick.
In addition to the food, we had 2 small bottles of beer each and the bill was >£80, so overall it was like getting a disappointing takeaway for twice the price. I usually would have got a tea during or after the meal but the small and awkward table meant I didn’t want to. Maybe this is because we are used to more “authentic” chinese food but I truly don’t understand how this place has won awards…
