Such a cute hangout spot! My friend and I had brunch here and enjoyed our lattes, wine, and shared plates. The truffle deviled eggs, beet hummus vegetable platter, and smoked trout dip were all delicious.

The attentive service stood out amongst the many great qualities of this versatile space. Lucille and Phillip were stellar! If I lived closer, I would bring my laptop to get work done here all the time. Would definitely recommend.

beautiful place. had a cruffin which was good. $5 beers is nice.

food we ordered: duck confit, chicken pate puff, merguez meatballs.

all the food was small portions for the price, and the food wasn’t hot either, it didn’t seem fresh, seemed like reheated food which is very disappointing. I’d come here for the coffee and pastry but I’d skip the food.

service was great though. attentive & accommodating.

Do you like drinks and pastries? Do you like modern French cafe music? Would you like to combine these loves in a modern venue with beautiful indoor and serviceable outdoor seating? Luxe is for you.

Hits:
– the decor – unmatched in the South Bay for “upscale” – closest equivalent is a Restoration Hardware cafe

– pastries

– hours – open late!

– alcohol (if you are into that sort of thing)

– coffee taste

Misses:

– coffee variety – I can understand not having pour over (but this marks Luxe as fundamentally unserious about coffee, which I don’t think they’d dispute) but no bean variety selection? Just a couple of non-standard milk drinks? No matcha options? Missed opportunity (stress on the word “opportunity – please enhance!)

– outdoors is a bit small – not the end of the world, but it’s a shame not to have more. Not really a big criticism.

– no shared work space accommodations – or are there? very nice nearly unoccupied offices in the indoor space shared with the flower bar that would be awesome to rent out by the hour and/or day

All in all a fantastic addition to Morgan Hill and I’d like to see more of this aesthetic pervade the downtown

Delightful new flower shop and cafe. I enjoyed the ambiance, which is fresh and open with plenty of sun. They have a choice of seating inside or outside with several large windows. The windows have the option of opening up which makes you feel as if you’re sitting outside even though you’re inside . I enjoyed the lavender rose latte along with the vegetable quiche both were great. The two young women working were kind, cheery, and very helpful. I asked for some water, and the young woman brought it to me at my table, and then she came back and gave me a refill. The only drawback I would say is that the noise from the cars on Monterey could be a little noisy.

While the baristas are always incredibly welcoming and attentive, I wanted to mention a few areas where my experience has fallen short of expectations.

I find the lattes to be quite milky to the point where it is difficult to taste the coffee. I would prefer not to have to order an extra shot of espresso to achieve a balanced flavor. Also, during my most recent visit, the croissant I ordered was unfortunately burnt and quite hard.

I enjoy the atmosphere and the service they provide, so I plan to return and perhaps try the Matcha next time. I hope they use a high quality of matcha.

Love this place! Great to grab a morning coffee. Try their croissants! They’re the best I’ve had in the Bay Area (no cap!).

Atmosphere is lovely and they have a great selection of French wines and bites at night.

I love their staff, they’ve all been super friendly and polite every time we visit. Our dog always gets a bowl of water and a treat!

Apparently you can also use the local as a flex workspace.

Highly recommend you give them a try!

This is a hidden gem in downtown Morgan Hill. The drinks are incredible. The pastries bring you back to Saint-Germain-des-Prés in Paris for the best pastries in town! Carolynn created the best service experience. The flower shop was a treat. This place literally brings you a little bit of Europe to NorCal. This is a must place to visit in Morgan Hill. Ask for Carolynn, you will have the best experience ever!

An extraordinarily well done cafe, beautiful with all those windows, open space and greenery. Can’t beat them for ambiance. Itching to sit and enjoy their patio on a summer’s eve. Strawberry muffin was flat out amazing. And the flower bar! That was a fun surprise. Carnations smell up the area nice. Carolyn on staff saw the flowers I started to pick out and she got inspired to pull some from their cool area, and boy that took things to the next level – beautiful! And not pricy. Inexpensive so you can just play with colors. Had so much fun with her and her enthusiasm. Philip shared how he prepares some of their cafe dishes, now I have to try those too. Great people, great place.

Promoted as a place to co-work, but only way to get wifi was to go “upstairs” and pay a $35(!) day pass. Staff was somewhat cold. Atmosphere definitely going for the aspirational faux-French cafe vibe. Coffee was fine. Probably fine if the above aesthetic is what you’re looking for, but hard pass for a standard coffee-coworking space with so many other options nearby.
