I heard about Lux38 and decided to give it a try since I had a friend in town. The pictures and menu looked good. We got 4 of the breakfast plates with pancakes, scrambled eggs,bacon, sausage and grits. I spent $ 70 with a TIP. It was horrible l. We ordered at 9:38 am and finally got our food at 10: 35. Food was ice cold. Grits were lumpy and watery at the same time. My friend asked for eggs over medium, every egg was just chopped up like it was forgotten on the grill. They did offer free drinks for the wait. Never again. Pancakes were also thick and tasteless

First of all, chicken was immaculate. The waffle was top tier too, but the chicken was better than any I’ve had at other fast food restaurants. Waitress was so so sweet, constantly making sure we had everything we needed. And for one lady doing all the cooking in the kitchen the wait wasn’t bad, especially for the quality of the food. Highly recommend cause this was a new experience for me!

Stumbled across this little place today.
At first glance we thought it was closed by the look from the outside. Once we got in, it was very humid where the floors were damp and slippery. The young lady up front was nice but seemed nervous.
It took a little while to get our food but, once we did, it was good. There were four of us and everyone was pleased with the food. I didn’t get pictures of the other two plates because we already dove into them.
For a sit down restaurant, the amenities (air condition) were a little offsetting but overall it was pretty good and we will most likely go back again.

Meh. The Friday special and burger combo just isn’t worth $40. My daughter said her hamburger tasted like meatloaf and I wasn’t fond of the super sweet cornbread dressing. My fish was definitely overcooked and broke the plastic fork trying to cut into it. You don’t even get to choose your side. Green beans. That’s what you get. Hope you like them because you don’t get any other option. This may be the place for you, it isn’t for us. Definitely a one and done in my book.

The owner is an awesome lady. Her bakery items are made in house and they are beautiful. I ordered the Wednesday special and husband had a chicken sandwich. Their breakfast and brunch menu looks amazing. Our food was hot and fresh. This is a definite to return to.

Let me start this off by saying this place is amazing! I ordered the “Thirty – Eight Chicken Club” as well as a cupcake… This chicken club is big, juicy, and flavorful; it also came with fries that are the perfect crisp. My GF said that the cupcake was great as well.
The lady running this place is very nice and has great customer service. She was also very welcoming to recommendations/suggestions, from customers.
While the lounge area is still under some renovations, the place feels and looks, very comforting and would be the perfect place to study, relax, or hangout.
B.T.W. I asked for the lettuce, tomato, and onion to be taken off so the image isn’t the exact chicken club…

There was no one up front when we arrived and one other person who also had not been waited on. Took 10 minutes waiting on someone to take our order. When the food came out it was only mediocre at best. The girl that came out occasionally was sweet but seems like she lacked training.

Ordered on door dash. 0/10. Didn’t receive half the order and barely got half the refund. Received one burrito that was so bad we immediately through it out. Burnt on the inside and a whole bar of butter on the outside. Honey lavender latte was also not consumable.
