Went here yesterday after seeing reviews on tic tok. Very small place, walked in to about 8 ppl standing around, waiting for their orders. Ordered turkey sub- everything on it, tuna sub, Italian – no onions. 2-sodas and a lemonade. The girl taking orders asked did tictok send me? I said yes, she said the wait would be 20-30min. I said ok, and went to the car. That was at 2:20pm. I went back in at 2:50pm. No subs. So I stood in there, watched and overhead the lady making the subs say the girl had already given somebody else’s food away while making a sub for one of her regulars- above the other orders that had been waiting. So I stayed in there with about 8-9 ppl waiting for my order. I walked out w.my order minus one drink b/c she said I didn’t pay for it. Mind you I had (3) subs, (3)drinks for $41. But by this time I was hangry and not in the mood to argue. I ate my sub in the car, it was good…. But NOT AN HOUR WAIT GOOD. My husband had the Italian sub and now what we think is food poisoning. Been down since about an hour after eating it. Literally all night and even at 10:00 this am. And he only ate 1/2 the sub:( I should’ve turned around when she said it was gonna be 30minutes. Will not be back, another tic tok fail and food poisoning on top.

I seen a post on Instagram so I decided to give this place a try.. the food critic who posted his tuna sub was talking about how generous they were with the tuna ( and his sandwich was full of tuna),Luv&Subz website also mentions the generous their subs are.Well my sandwich was generous of a garden salad with a touch of tuna spread and over seasoned with Oregano.. nevertheless this was a trip and $11 wasted! The moral of the story don’t believe everything you see or read! I assume the critics sandwich was overstuffed for commercial/promotional purposes! I got a better tuna sub from Subway!

Since I’ve noticed “luvz & subs” trending on TikTok, I’ve been making an effort to visit every chance I get. I’ve tried the #4 Italian, and it’s always a hit. The staff is incredibly kind, and even on a day when the shop was a bit crowded, They remained nice. You’ll always have my support

It was my first time going there. I loved food. The owner was very warm friendly. The shrimp and crab sub was amazing. I see why they call it luv and subz. She makes every sub with ❤️. I traveled 40 minutes away it was worth every minute. Next time I be getting a piece of cake to go too.

I recently tried the Luv Subz in District Heights, and I was thoroughly impressed. The tuna sandwich I ordered was everything I had hoped for and more. It was a unique and awesome experience that set it apart from other sandwich places like Subway and others. The owner was kind and polite, I had to go back for another of her (strawberry-kiwi lemonade) drinks. So, If you’re out shopping and looking for a quick bite to eat, Luv Subz is a great option. They also have a delicious strawberry kiwi turkey Hill lemonade that you should definitely try. Thank you again!!!!

The ladies were lovely and so sweet when I picked up my order. My coworker got to try hers first and she is still talking about how good her sandwich was. When it was my turn I couldn’t help but agree! Generous serving, beautiful presentation and DELICIOUS! My coworker and I both agree, perfectly seasoned, no extras necessary. We will definitely order again, probably one of the seafood specialties next time. Best wishes to this business!

I contemplated for a while whether I should post this review or not because I do not enjoy writing negative reviews but I actually drove an hour to come support & this experience here was so bizarre and weird. I LOVE sandwiches and wanted to come support here because it was fairly new and black owned. I was excited to come here after seeing a food review on TikTok. This place needs a class or two, three, four in customer service! There were two older ladies working at the time I came in to order. The lady who was taking the orders was kind and polite but the other lady making the sandwiches… NOT SO MUCH. First off, after you order a sandwich…. a cold sandwich…. It’ll take about 20/25 minutes as she takes her sweet time. I was waiting patiently & the lady making the sandwiches standing in front kept making it her business to find something to pick with me about! “step back… can you step back…. im working on other peoples order, not yours yet so you can step back, don’t touch the rack of chips….” Then out of the blue when she didn’t get the reaction she was looking for turned around and ACCUSED ME OF RECORDING HER!!!!! That was SO LEFT FIELD!!!!! Why would I be recording her?! Also, it’s a public place and gets recorded everyday for TikTok or other social media platforms so IF I was recording, what would be the issue?! She had a stack of orders to work on which took her quite some time but kept looking at me nastily…. I think she was annoyed that I was standing looking at her make the food. Once I got irritated that she accused me of recording her, she instructed the nicer lady to give me a refund and cancel my order… basically kicking me out. IT TURNS OUT THE RUDE ONE IS THE OWNER!!!!!!!!!After the nicer lady gives me a refund, I turned to owner and told her how nasty she was being and I’m assuming felt she was dead wrong and ended up giving me my sub for free. I will never come back. This place only banks on being black owned…. No quality food, no politeness backing no “luv” here at “luv & subz”

My wife, myself and others have been ordering and eating sub sandwiches from luv & subz markets for maybe a year now. We’ve never been disappointed or let down yet. From the start of her delivering first to get her subz sandwiches promoted. Up to now, her luv & subz markets business being sold in a store front. Everything has always been fresh from the bread to the added veggie topping. No (HOMO) LOL. The subz are very Meaty which makes it worth the prices. Sis, Keep putting your passion and luv in your subz. No one has to take my words. But the prove is in the subz. I couldn’t wait to start eating it nor could I stop eating my sub to take a pic.

Very small place. I placed my order online, and it was ready when I arrived. Both young ladies working there were pleasant and greeted me when I walked in. I ordered the Italian w/hot peppers and it was made perfectly. The ingredients were fresh and the sub was good. A lot bigger and meater than I was expecting. I will definitely be back.
