We stopped by to try this place out and it did not disappoint!
We started off with the guacamole and it was made tableside. Our server did an amazing job!
My husband ordered the filet mignon fajitas and they were great! I ordered the pablo plate and 2 people can definitely eat off of it! LOL
Make sure to order the corn and flour tortillas they were AMAZING!

They asked if we preferred a more quiet setting, or outside along with a more lively environment.
We decided on the more lively atmosphere!!

We visited Lupe Tortilla at The Rim in San Antonio, and it was exactly the experience we needed to restore our faith in good Tex-Mex after a disappointing visit elsewhere. From the moment we walked in, the staff was super friendly and welcoming. We got seated quickly, and the atmosphere felt warm and inviting.
We ordered the beef fajitas for two, and let me tell you, they were fantastic. They brought out chips, salsa, and even a little cup of charro beans as a nice touch, which was a pleasant surprise. When the fajitas arrived, they came out sizzling on a skillet with all the traditional fixings, plus both corn and flour tortillas. The tortillas were homemade, and the flour ones were especially soft and delicious. We even had a bit left to take home, which was a bonus.
Overall, the service was great, the price was reasonable, and we will definitely be coming back. It’s exactly what we hoped for and more!

As I entered, I felt a warm sense of welcome and immediately settled into my seat. The gentleman attentively watched over me and checked in regularly, demonstrating genuine care. Even the manager came out personally to make sure I was comfortable and everything was just right. The environment felt truly thoughtful and nurturing. What a great opportunity for everyone’s favorite traveled friend to review another experience. Today’s experience brought me to “Lupe Tortilla Mexican Restaurant” in San Antonio, Texas. I was here for business and a special occasion. The restaurant is located close to one of my new favorite shopping experiences “La Cantera.” I dined outdoors because the “ambiance” is amazing there. Wait staff was very attentive and it was pleasant that even a member of the “management staff” stopped to ✔️ on our “well-being.” I ordered something practical and they did not disappoint. My companion agreed that the entrée was also “delightful.” All in all this was a great experience and I am glad to present “Lupe Tortilla Mexican Restaurant” with my very well “coveted” “5 ” experience on 10/24/25.

Pablo and Karla both have continually made the visits that myself, my friends, and my family have enjoyed and I cannot be thankful enough for the fact they’ve both been here for a good, long time while I’ve been eating here.
The menu looks fantastic and indeed has been fantastic!!! The management and the upkeep both have exceeded my expectations. However, if either of them are working: I am always grateful for the opportunity to be served by them 🙂 They’re irreplacable staff in my mind, and I always look forward to *whatever* service they may provide. They have never shown me a “bad” day on the job, but I am supremely confident that would outshine any other place I’ve been to in the area (honestly, in the last decade *anywhere*) and I cannot praise the help they’ve been and the support they’ve provided for the dining experiences I’ve pursued.

A solid 4 for Mexican food. Nice ambience and atmosphere, friendly and attentive service. Highly recommend the cilantro ranch – delicious with the chips too! The chicken tortilla soup was huge with lots of chunks of grilled chicken breast. Great healthy/high protein and filling option. Awesome vegetarian menu too. The grilled mushrooms in the tacos were nicely seasoned and meaty, though the puff tacos sound better than they are… just a thick tortilla.
