Pretty good! Nice atmosphere and comfortable seating. I ordered the kangaroo currywurst, mainly for novelty value, and I enjoyed it. Chips were nicely seasoned. Obviously the menu caters to German tastes rather than being authentically Australian, but there are interesting Australian ingredients such as barramundi, crocodile and so on. Only blip was the rude waitress.

This street leads to the river and its busy. I liked the buzz of this street. We managed to get the last outside table on our first night. We both opted for the burger and fries. It was a generous portion. We’ve drank beer. The waiter was friendly and efficient. Worth a try if you fancy a burger.

Another beautiful restaurant in Dresden! Very nice menu! Reasonable price! Rib eye is very tender, chicken breast is a little dry, meat balls are very flavourful, mashed yam potato is very tasty too. Glass noodles salad is good but needs a little more veggies…it was mostly noodles. All in all it was good… highly recommended.

Food tastes great! The Kangaroo steak came out perfectly cooked as ordered and the service went well over and beyond. I asked them if they could make a dessert for my wife as an anniversary surprise and the they pulled off a super desert for her. The servers and manager were super friendly.

We were looking for a different option for dinner and this place caught our eyes as they mentioned Australian cuisine. We were lucky to find a table without reservation. Service was seriously lacklustre from the beginning, except for one waitress in dark hair tied in a bun, who was the only that treated us like a patron rather than a criminal. The menu selection was a little confusing but I settled for the fish with sweet potato. I have to say the plating could have been done with more care, but who am I to judge The wine selection does hero Australian wines so I guess that justifies the name. Overall – yeah it’s a place to go when you happen to be around the area and would like a nice glass of Australian wine.

I went there to have Hot Wings. Ended up having a extremely well cooked Steak, mashed potatoes, carrots, brocoli, and a whisky sauce, and an Old Fashioned drink. Ended my meal with the Dry Syrah for desert. The live music was the icing on the cake!

I enjoyed it very very much!

Note: Country Potatoes are deep fried potatoes wedges here – not mashed potatoes with butter and cheese (sometimes topped with chives), like in America.

The Old Fashioned here is perfect, not too much ice, with a lovely amount of flavor!

My most favourite restsurant in Dresden. Forst of all the restaurant convinces with a modern interieur, with wood surfaces, chopper colours and gives somehow the feeling to the name „Ayers Rock“ in Australia. Continued with an unusual menue, with kangoroo, water buffalo or crocodile meat, but don’t worry also the taste of vegetarians will be pleased here. Further the personell is very friendly and motivated. Waiting time for your dish is around 10 till 15 min. Prices are in a slightly upscaled area, but the food is tasty, seems to be high quality, combined with big portions justify this totally.
Reservation should be done if you really want to visit at the evening, especially when the opera time is in Dresden.

After our tour walked around Dresden, there was some time for lunch. As visitors, we were looking for local food but instead most of them were either cafes or restaurants with different cuisines. This restaurant got nice heaters at the outdoor tables, so we decided to give it a try. We had kangaroo’s burger and kangaroo and beef meatballs. I think it’s wise for them to put the 2 meat together so we can tell the difference between the two meats. Kangaroo meat seems to have softer tissue and stronger flavor, they blend well with the sweet potatoes and other vegetables that came along with it. The young servers were friendly but better if they can introduce more of the menu

The location is excellent, and that is the end. Burgers are nothing special for the price and were served cold, service is not friendly and slow, kids menu was a disappointment for kids. My guess it that an overall reviews are mainly scored the location…
