A pleasant surprise in St. Maries. The food here is fresh. I rate it average because the food tasted bland. My won ton soup, however, was tasty. The vegetables are very fresh. A small restaurant and clean. The food came quickly and with a smile. Not bad.

I ordered orange chicken and it was awful. Seemed like canned chicken and was too sweet to even think about eating. When the server checked on me I politely asked for a box for my crab Rangoons and told her she could remove the orange chicken from the table and let her know I didn’t like it. She took it and came back and asked if I wanted something instead. I then order beef broccoli which was mediocre but I asked for a box and check. They ended up charging me for it. My billed totalled at $38.69 for 1 person! I still tipped 20% because the server was nice and it wasnt her fault the food sucks. So it was $46 for a very disappointing meal. I definitely Do Not Recommend

So the good stuff first. They are extra careful about your food allergies. Happy to serve you too. Okay now it’s not 5 Star food. It’s rice and fried food. Your gonna get cabbage, rice. With different meat and vegetables variations. It’s not terrible, it’s basic, it’s small town. Plenty of seating, air conditioning, clean bathrooms.

I love the China Cafe. I am a vegan and love Hot and Sour soup. There are not very many places that will make it from scratch. Very rare that I am able to order it. They made the soup just the way I like it. It was fabulous. I am ordering some to go tonight. The atmosphere is great when dining in and the staff are friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. I highly recommend them. My entire party was very happy with their food.

Had a good friday night dinner there with family. I Really enjoy their special rice. It is basic fried rice with a good mix of all the meats mixed in. 5 tables at once kept the waitress busy but she was still timely on food delivery and drinks.
