I’ve gotta say — one of the things I love about Hummingbird Cafe is they even play Christian music in there.
I honestly don’t think I’ve ever walked into another restaurant anywhere playing worship music like that.
Good food, good atmosphere, and faith in the background — that’s pretty special.
If you want a salad before 11am, there’s only one spot in town that’s got you covered .

The chef salad at Hummingbird Cafe is always delicious — fresh greens, generous ham, crunchy croutons, shredded cheese, and a perfect drizzle of dressing.
Nice health portions, bold flavor, and made with care. It reminded me of this verse:

What a great place for a meal! Our server, Colleen, was amazing. The food was absolutely perfect. Best eggs I’ve had in years! And the coffee! My new favorite place for a few cups for sure. Best I’ve had in ages. I can’t say enough good things about this cute little cafe. Plenty of seating, off street parking, and super easy to get to. We will definitely be back! I’d give them ten stars if I could. We were just passing through and they treated us like family. Highly recommended. Ask about the white toast, it was awesome!

Had Sunday morning breakfast around 9 am with 5 people. We had a short wait to get seated. Waitresses were attentive. I had the meat lovers omelet with potatoe pancakes and a side pancake. The food was delicious and I highly recommend the pancakes. I’m glad to see this place reopened and will definitely return.

We kept things simple for breakfast—eggs, bacon, toast, and fries—and everything was cooked just right and served hot. My wife had the chicken salad on a croissant, and it was fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned.

Service was friendly, but unacceptably slow. How slow? 45 minutes to get your food slow. Was it packed? No. Did we have a large party? No. Did we have some kind of special food requests? No. The problem? Apparently, there’s one tiny griddle and the lone “cook” is incapable of multitasking and prepares one-thing-at-a-time. So if there is more than one person in the restaurant when you walk in, be prepared to wait…
Food was marginal at best, which made the insane wait time even more frustrating. I mean, how can you ruin breakfast?! Everything that was ordered we’ve made at home with better quality in under 20min.
