The behind the scenes people that make it happen to high quality standards 10 ⭐️
Please remember almost all of the team members speak English as a second language.
So take your time ordering , speak English eloquently & slowly ?
The inimitable Annie❤️was there today
As usual, her poise, gracious presence and hospitality never ever falters
I once complimented Matty on a previous amazing meal & impeccable service (mussels in white wine)
His response:
“ Mate thank you, we don’t always get it right , but lovely to hear it when we do “
So humble a couple ❤️❤️
Locals will know this couple,
ex Blue Moon Grill (delish)
ex Duck’s Nuts Kewarra
Note to self:
Ask Matty, duck’s nuts? Please explain
The food was one step above the normal commercial franchise.
We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast.
The staff were very friendly and initially attentive, particularly to my dietary needs. Though as the evening wore on the service declined.
The mains came out before we were halfway through the entrees, they were politely returned to the kitchen. However there was then a huge delay between clearing the entree and mains thus our meals had been sitting for at least 20 minutes, this of course affected the quality of the food.
On the plus side, the calamari was what my husband’s described as “the best” he has “ever tasted, and spoiled me for all other calamari “. The price was also good for the generous serve.
The risotto was delicious, if somewhat lacking in moisture.
We would have ordered dessert but after a 15 minute wait we decided to have dessert elsewhere.
Meals were all generously proportioned.
I had poached eggs, hollandaise sauce, spinach with added mushrooms- plenty of sauce and absolutely delicious. Large serving.
One son had eggs and hash browns, saying the hash browns were the best he’d eaten.
Good service and hot food. Nothing to complain about. Highly recommend going, and would go back if it was in Melbourne.
The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the food is delicious every single time, and the menu offers something for everyone. It’s perfect for couples, families, and groups who want to dine comfortably and enjoy great company. Dietary requirements are catered for with ease, and the selection of food and drinks is impressive — especially the signature cocktails, which are a standout.
A wonderful dining experience from start to finish and a restaurant you’ll happily return to again and again. ✨
