The food, the drinks, the service, and vibes are great. The pork rind nachos are good and loaded with pulled pork and other toppings and a delicious and different. The loaded chicken with Mac & cheese, and pulled pork with collard greens are delicious. The chicken and waffle is delicious. For the price it’s a lot of food and well worth it. I’ll be back to try other foods on the menu.

Stopped in while bar crawling Scott’s Addition. The place was oddly empty on a Saturday night. They were setting up for a private party in a big area of the restaurant. We were seated right away. It’s decorated really cute for Xmas and they have one of the best Holiday cocktail menus I’ve seen this year. There is a nice outside area with fire tables, too.
Our table had the Cindy Lou Who, Felix & Felicia, PB &Sleigh, Jingle Juice, and a traditional Old Fashioned. The drinks were all fantastic!!
We also split an order of the fried green tomatoes with pimento cheese….chef’s kiss! And we had the braised short rib dinner with mashed potatoes and Brussels..fantastic!
Our server was sweet, although a little absent…and the restaurant wasn’t busy so I’m not sure where she kept getting off to…but it was not bad.

My first to Virginia, and came across this amazing spot via Instagram. Absolutely loved the food!!! Pickle chips & the boneless short ribs for appetizer was a delight. Then we had the Boneless chicken with the hot honey, Brussels sprouts and Mac n cheese is a must have! And for dessert the Bread pudding OMG the best! Service was AWESOME. Ambiance was great. Highly recommended!!!

Went to Supper after seeing the Nutcracker at Dominion for a late lunch/early supper (it was around 5 on a Saturday). Was seated promptly at a high top in the bar area (they weren’t very busy). Waitress (Rachel, she might have been a bartender as well, I’m not sure) was awesome. I had looked at the menu before arriving and thought I knew what I wanted (shrimp and grits)…but then looked at the menu for real and changed my mind. Ordered the fried green tomatoes (with pimento cheese and bacon) and the boneless braised short ribs. Tomatoes were excellent flavor wise; hard to eat…they basically fell apart when trying to slice them up. Bacon really set them off. Short ribs were phenomenal. Fork tender, very flavorful. The mashed potatoes and brussels sprouts complemented the meat very well. I could have eaten the entire thing and been happy….but I saved half of it because I wanted to see how their dessert menu looked.
OMG. Krispy Kreme bread pudding. Unbelievable. Like crack in a bowl.
So far everything is awesome.
But to the ambiance…as I mentioned, it was 5-ish on a Saturday. Already semi-dark in the bar area. Well somebody decided (about 5:20-5:30) to dim the lights in the bar area. Which made it decidedly more awkward in my opinion to eat. (the table area remained nice and bright, but the light didn’t carry over into the bar).
And my high top table had an obnoxious wobble to it. At first I thought it was a leg, so I tried keeping my feet on the foot rest…nope, the top of the table was wobbly. Not enough to cause anything to fall, but just enough to be noticeable and bothersome while eating.
All in all this place was great. A couple minor things to patch up and get that 5th star…

this is the best experience i’ve had in a while. me and my two friends went in and there was a 30 minute wait so we sat at the bar. our bartender wayne was phenomenal. when you work in a restaurant, you can tell when someone is really good at their job. some of the best drinks we’ve ever had. i got the chicken and waffles made hot and the chicken was fried perfectly and still moist. the food, drinks, service, all perfect. as my boyfriend said, we basically got served by batman. would recommend to everyone and anyone

Lunch Supper was amazing!! Food so delicious and fresh. Double back with moist pork BBQ and scrambled eggs on top with seasoned potatoes and cheesy grits compliments to the chef. Chicken and Waffles tender and filling. Great atmosphere, good music and professional serving staff. (Thanks Emily). Definitely worth the 1-1/2 hr drive for sure. My sister and I had a great. time!!!♥️

Our first time here for lunch and it was amazing. We were greeted promptly and had a friendly waiter/bartender, Griffin. He conversed with customers while managing a lunch rush- kudos to him! He made our lunch that much more enjoyable. Now, the food! Wow- the chicken and waffles DELICIOUS! Chicken was golden and juicy, waffle was soft and sweet. The pork sandwich was the best we have had in a long time. Again the meat was tender and juicy, fries were hot and the bun was super soft. Great service, food and atmosphere We will definitely be back to try the supper side

This place passes the vibe check.
We went for a boozy brunch filled with Kickback mules, and fried green tomatoes and loved every bite.
We were lucky enough to get there before the crowd hit, and were just blown away by the food. I’ve only had sausage gravy and biscuits a couple of times, but I have to say, this is my favorite version. The gravy was good, but it was all about the biscuit. It was buttery and caramelized. I would’ve been happy to have that on the side with some butter and jam.
Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for a good brunch spot.

I arrived for a late brunch on Saturday, minimal wait time. Ordered the crispy pork belly, it was wonderful. Flavors come together in a unique and delicious way. RVA sunrise was also great. Will definitely be coming back to try out Supper. Staff were attentive and very nice, they did an awesome job. Also honorable mention to the fantastic hush puppies.
