This wonderful Mexican restaurant on Main Street in Hampstead, Maryland is a little gem. The food is excellent and very reasonably priced. There is also plenty of it so you won’t leave hungry. They bring out the most delicious tortilla chips and salsa as soon as they come to your table to take your order so it’s like an instant appetizer. Highly recommend!

Absolutely delicious food and funky/interesting decor/vibe. The chips and salsa were fresh. My husband and I got the elote, best I’ve had in the DMV area. My Bloody Mary was good, lacking any type of flair. I got the Meat Lovers Torta, juicy and delicious. All the flavors complimented each other extremely well. My husband got the Burro Fajita w/steak. Also super yummy and packed with flavor. 10/10 would recommend!

We stopped in for tapas and a drink. Great tapas menu. Wife had a watermelon mojito which she has been looking for. Chicken tamale and empanada were excellent. Chips and salsa upon arrival. Staff was very friendly and on top of everything. Place is very clean and the atmosphere is appropriate. I look forward to coming back and trying other items on the menu.

We ordered from this restaurant after passing by it numerous times. We ordered the yucantanes enchiladas, a Mexican sampler, a beef and cheese empanada, and a kids cheese quesadilla. The food was about average for Mexican food. The yucantanes enchiladas were good and different from the typical Mexican menu. The rice was a little under done. The Mexican sampler was kind of bland. The empanada had a corn dough which was different than usual but a little too doughy. Overall this establishment has decent food but would probably go elsewhere for Mexican food.

Today I visited LunaZul for the second time this week. I was here a few days ago and ordered the steak tacos, and they were excellent, along with the flan for dessert, which hit the spot. Today I had the Burrito Mexico Norte and it was really good and full of flavor. I also had the platanitos (fried plantains). Great service and excellent food. I think this is best Mexican food I have enjoyed in Maryland over the last 7 years. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for some delicious Mexican food. Enjoy!

I am a repeat customer, the food is delicious. The food is great, the space is clean and inviting. I was highly disappointed on my last visit 5/25/23. Margherita was terrible, it was missing tequila, so they gavee another one and up-charged me for an “additional shot”. BS! I am bummed because the food is great, maybe stick to canned drinks.
