We were able to have a lovely party in the outdoor patio space for 16 people. The space could fit 40-50 easily. Peking duck was deliciously crisp and truly enough for a family meal. We had tons of leftovers after ordering two ducks, 6 orders of siu mei (generous dumpling with shrimp and pork), 4 braised string beans, 8 orders of har gow (shrimp dumpling), jong (sticky rice with pork wrapped in leaf) and more. Is it as good as Monterey Park? Well, some dishes, yes. And it is great to have Lunasia in the South Bay area!

Excellent Dim Sum plus other dishes. Large patio space. You order through your phone so make sure you have battery life. . The pea shoots weren’t as tender as we’d like, but the BBQ Pork buns and sticky rice were da bomb. Will come back and bring others.

Pretty packed place. Parking is plentiful. Service is okay, food comes out pretty quick. Ordering system is convenient, but also not great, I actually prefer traditional cart system. Flavor wise, I actually prefer Sea Express, it’s more traditional dim sum experience. Siu Mai is gigantic, not a good thing, at least for me. Crispy noodles were my favorite.

Really tasty but super expensive compared to most dimsum restaurants in town.

Finally, a decent dim sum place in the South Bay area. They have authentic good quality dim sum and it is their 4th location outside Alhambra, Cerritos, and Pasadena. They have many authentic Chinese dishes other than dim sum and they are all authentic and very tasty. Lunasia is one of the top dim sum places in LA and it is definitely the best dim sum/Chinese restaurant in South Bay area. However, they are not cheap, but it is totally worth it for that kind of quality of dim sum/dishes. The people working there are super friendly and make good recommendations on dishes.

This popular upscale dim sum chain finally opened up in the South Bay. The manager said they have only opened for a week. So far so good, there are still a few kinks to work out but we think it’s pretty good.

This place is our new favorite dim-sum. So far, so good. We ordered a whole pecking duck last time and it was bomb!

Newly opened as of this week! They have other locations in Pasadena, Alhambra, Cerritos and now Torrance! They have traditional dim sum dishes while coming up with some inventive one such as Scallop Dumpling with Squid Ink or Truffle Siu Mai. My favorite is the Spinach Shrimp Dumpling. Flavorful and pretty!

Best Mongolian beef I have ever had in a restaurant. The char siu pork was delicious a must try spot IMHO. The dim sum was better than what I have had in Flushing New York definitely coming back with friends and family.
