First of all this wasn’t our first time coming here and ordering pizza we’ve been here a few times we always get a large cheese pizza for our son with extra cheese because that’s all he eats and then I usually get a white cheese pizza with the fresh mozzarella. The pizza did not come out the correct way but the worker/manager whomever she was insisted that it was correct and on top of it the pizza was burnt crust and bottom everywhere . So fine say that is supposed the cheese” that they use” I paid extra for extra cheese and did not get extra cheese She would not do anything for us because she told us there is nothing wrong with the pizza- burnt pizza that’s something wrong regardless , Extra cheese that wasn’t there, but nope nothing wrong . If you have an unhappy customer instead of being rude you should try to fix the problem but No , She insisted she was right and that she would do nothing that. Spending almost $50 on Pizza that did not come out right and have a supposed manager be unprofessional and offering nothing nothing at all. I like Luna just fine! This is a neighborhood pizza place with great crust that doesn’t skimp on toppings. It may not be the finest pizza I’ve ever had in my whole life, but it’s definitely up there. The place has charm and class, and I think we are lucky to have it. In most of America this would be the best pizza in the state.

One of the best pizza spots in CT! Tuesdays are my absolute favorite because of their $13 medium pizza special. They use high-quality ingredients like fresh mozzarella and a delicious fresh tomato sauce—it’s a true classic. The staff is energetic, the vibes are great, and it’s definitely a must-visit spot in the area!

Definitely disappointed, this place use to be amazing. But has changed tremendously over the years, the pizza was not as good as it use to be, the sauce tasted different. I got a margherita pizza and it giant pieces of tomatoes, and the a cheese and half pepperoni pizza, which were extremely messy they were falling apart, had and the garlic knots were a 5/10 would have ranked higher but they were warm on the verge of cold. I also got wings which were the best thing served there. The service in this place was super disappointing, I understand that it’s hard to accommodate for large groups but while I was there I was told it would be a few minutes. And it really was 30-40 ish minutes of a wait, the sever wasn’t attentive or even coming to tell me how much longer until they had a table available. While a group of 5 people had one table for them to sit at, and another two tables to hold their pizzas.

Great thin crust pizza with a nice flavorful sauce, can’t go wrong! Also had wings which were fried crispy and weren’t oversized or undersized. Nice staff, always worth swinging by if you’re in the mood for a pie, wings and some beer

12/13/25 I ordered my dinner thru UberEats app which I opted to “pickup” instead of having it delivered. When I arrived I gave the young white lady the order name, she recieved the order & asked me to show confirmation thru my app. When I showed her the app to prove it’s my order, she strangely denied to give me my food. Another staff; another young white lady stepped in and started to confirm the order couldn’t be verified; denying me my food again. I asked for a manager and was told no. I showed the app again in disbelief and was denied my food that I paid for AGAIN!! While these ladies continued to deny me my food the other staff was looking around in confusion not saying a word. I took my food off the counter and told the racists young ladies to call the cops so they can explain how they’re denying me my food that I paid for! My order was paid in full thru the UberEats app which I had verified to them. I was being denied my food because I’m black. There wasn’t another black person in the restaurant & I refuse to believe racism didn’t play a part in these young ladies demeanor. The entire situation was weird and bizarre. I will never come here again.

Revisiting Luna Pizza this week of September 2020, we chose to eat inside. I wanted their white pizza again, but my partner thought the white clam would be good, too, so the waitress suggested we get our large pizza made as half white half white clam. We agreed and ordered two glasses of Malbec and the plain calamari as an app.
The wine pour was average to small but the wine itself had good body. The calamari was not our favorite of the many places we’ve had this dish, but that’s our opinion. The squid was smaller and thinner in size, and not that crunchy. It has some heat, too, from all the peppers if you like spicy food. Their calamari also comes buffalo style with blue cheese. We considered this choice, so our waitress was nice enough to bring us each of the three sauces to try the calamari which diners can choose from when ordering . The marinara was a little bland, but the tartar sauce and house made buffalo, were perfect. Our next visit we might try their fried ravioli, meatballs or more of the arancini we had before.
The white cheese pizza with mozzarella, romano, garlic and parsley is still really good. The white clam pizza had an incredibly generous portion of chopped clams mixed with light to medium heat peppers, which left a slight burn on your palate after eating. I thought a few clam pieces were a little chewy but my partner thought that’s what clams are and was fine with them. The quantity of clams soaked through the charred thin crust making it kind of wet. This pizza is easier to eat with a fork. We found reheating our boxed slices in the toaster oven on the toast setting, heated up the bottom to make it dry and crispy. A nice restaurant with good food for lunch, dinner or take-out. Due to Covid, patrons are asked to scan the menu on their phones before placing an order with the wait staff rather than using paper menus.

My first visit here there was only cheese pizza pre-made that we were told we could add toppings to before reheating. We ordered just the cheese to taste the crust and sauce better. Good, but the sauce tasted just like plain pureed tomatoes.

My second visit a couple of weeks later I would give five stars. The difference is this time there were a couple of white pizza slices pre-made. I ordered one of those as I’ve been searching for a good white pizza in CT that tasted like my favorite white pizza in CA, Joe’s, and all of them have been disappointing. Not Luna’s! I finally found a white pizza as delicious and flavorful as Joe’s right in West Hartford. Took over a decade. I’ll be ordering plenty of these in the future. We also tried their arancini (Italian rice balls stuffed with cheese) and they were tasty and well made. Wine and beer are also served here.

Order take out and asked for ceaser salad and when I went to pick up and pay the women at the register said that the salad dressing for the ceaser salad would cost money. Which seems odd because I order a Cesar salad and what makes a ceaser salad – the dressing.
