Local Foods Kitchen is AmAzInG! They have tons of options of cold and hot foods, beverages galore, and happens to be just enjoyably adorable. An incredible array of beautiful treats of all kinds, fruit cakes and pies, cookies, chocolates and more. With a relaxing and shady green patio, indoor dining, pick up or Togo, they treat all of their customers as royalty. I was ordering to go and was offered a cup for water while I waited to which I was able to spruce up by adding complimentary fresh mint, oranges, lemons, cucumbers and limes, so refreshing! I ordered the Mediterranean Chicken Skewer and Sweet Potato/Cauliflower/Kale salad. My order was ready in 2 min and the place was packed, very quick and painless grab and go! My dishes were scrumptious and came with a fresh made delectable tzatziki that makes my mouth water to think about. All the green plants and decor and big windows make it such a pleasant place to enjoy a healthy and extremely satisfying meal. I also got a flourless chocolate heart cake that was divine! The best review I can leave here is with pictures because I will absolutely be back to try everything they have. Seriously, look at all these options! It is my new favorite local spot and I can’t wait to go back. Thank you, Local Foods Kitchen!!

Before tip our cost was 62.24 for lunch for 3 people, 2 teas and a water. The food was okay. Go early or late to avoid the lunch crowds. They do have outside seating. The salad was really wet with dressing if we go back I’ll ask for it on the side. The Cuban was the favorite of the day.

The food here is delicious, which is why I’ve returned multiple times. Unfortunately, my experiences with the staff have been disappointing. On several occasions, the employees, particularly one female staff member at the counter, have come across as annoyed, irritated, and unwilling to answer questions while taking orders. The interactions felt off-putting and lacked basic customer service.
I tried to extend grace the first time, assuming it might have just been a bad moment, but the same issue has happened more than once and at different times of the day. I truly enjoy the food, but the repeated negative interactions make the overall experience less welcoming than it should be.

Went here for lunch on Saturday for the first time. Had to wait outside in 40 degree weather for five minutes just to get in the door to order at the counter. The place had zero open seating with 6-8 people already standing around waiting for a table to open up. By the time we ordered that number had swelled, so we got it to go. Wasn’t about to sit outside, so we ate in the car. The Reuben had onions on it that I asked to be left off, so I had to balance it on my lap and pick off onions. Also, we ordered a Kebab salad and they gave us a completely different salad. The food was not bad but save yourself the hassle, go eat somewhere with an actual dining room that will give you the food you ordered, prepared the way you pay for it. Oh, and we got a sandwich, salad and two iced teas and it was $50. Very much not worth it and won’t be going back.

Very fun and satisfying place to eat. Delicious items on menu. Order at counter and enjoy sharing a picnic table with strangers or eating at a table or dine on the sidewalk when weather is nice. Has always been a popular restaurant, but worth the wait. Delicious dessert items too.

This is one of my favorite places to frequent and it’s become a weekly staple. The entrees are diverse and conducive for all palates – vegetarian and meat lovers alike. My favorites are the Hippie Crunch and Power Salad…but the Fish Tacos are delightful too. And the staff is super friendly and addresses me by name each and every time I visit! I highly recommend giving this venue a shot and consider it one of the best in the city.

First time coming here yesterday with the family! Very cute place but there was no hello, welcome, or anything when we first entered. We were standing around wondering how everything works till we finally asked. And trying to get a peach tea is complicated as well since nothing is labeled. I ended up getting a chicken Caesar salad but the lettuce was old and had pink all through it. Everything else was amazing though besides the salad! And it’s very kid friendly too as a sweet woman brought my kids out a giant paper to draw on while we waited for our food to come.
