My husband and I are from NYC/NJ and we were absolutely blown away by the pizza here. We had extremely low expectations for Italian food in North Carolina since we are from the pizza capital of the world. But we saw pictures of the pizza online, and thought we’d check it out for ourselves. The owner actually stayed to Italy for awhile to learn how to make this incredible Neapolitan pizza which is why it’s so good. When we asked for some Parmesan cheese for the pizza, we received actual shredded Parmesan from the block, not that grated powder garbage that most restaurants give. Kathy was our waitress and fellow New Yorker. We loved her spunk and personality. We will definitely be returning.

Going to start out by telling you how amazing the owner is. I’ve never seen an owner dedicated to cooking as well as working in the job. The environment is cozy and inviting. It’s extremely clean but I did notice fruit flies consistently flying around. The service at first was questionable as we ordered an expresso martini but waited 15 minutes while watching others get drinks who got here after us. Given, the bartender was extremely busy making drinks and serving them at the same time, just made us feel an odd kind of way. We started with the panzanella salad which if you like a vinaigrette based dish, this is the one for you. The margherita pizza is always cooked to perfection and their pizza sauce is what I think the best in Greenville. It is a thin crust pizza so sorry for the folks coming from up north down here. The spaghetti was a little on the saltier and heavier side which for a pomodoro sauce. Ultimately this is one of the best spots a little on the above average for price wise but I definitely recommend it.

One of the best Neapolitan pizzas in North Carolina! I had the margherita pizza. The sauce is the best part of this pie. It’s zesty, but not too tangy. The cheese is high quality and not too overpowering. The crust has good char. It could be a bit more charred at the bottom, but overall an amazing slice. Also, ask for the dipping red sauce for the crust and thank me later.

If you are in the mood for a great pizza that’s different than the rest, then Luna’s is a great place to go. Not only do they host a good combination of choices, they are super friendly, fantastic service, offer free samples of their sauces, full drink bar, and comfortable outside and indoor seating. The best thing about their pizzas is the crust. It’s thin, delicious, and has a wonderful texture. We will go back for more.

I ate here for the first time 7.31.22. All dishes were super fresh tasting. You can tell they pride themselves with quality ingredients! I really like the fact they’ve recycled wine bottles to serve water to your table when you are first seated. Make sure if you get the salad (I have food allergies, so we got the salami on the side), to get some house dressing on the side because it is delicious!

What a great experience! Top notch pizza with plenty of toppings. The wine selection is excellent and the atmosphere relaxed and inviting. The owner checked on us a couple of times and the staff was super attentive. It’s no surprise this place is so popular. Check it out, you will not be disappointed!!

Finally decided to try Luna’s pizza and I was greatly impressed. My parents were visit from out-of-town and really enjoyed the atmosphere of the place. We did have trouble getting our waiter’s attention throughout the night even-though they were not that busy. So you may need to be a bit more patient than normal while waiting for refills or the checks. The food is extremely good through, including the tiramisu dessert. I highly recommend trying it.
