Good coffee in this area! I loved the modern concept of this coffee place and drive thru. The drive thru did take a while but the coffee was worth the try especially while on our roadtrip. I enjoyed it!

July 6, 2025 – (4.5 ⭐’s) My first visit to Hae’s Bakery & Coffee Shoppe. Overall it was a pleasing experience. My wife and I agreed our food was quite good. We shared a breakfast burrito and a egg/cheese/cheese breakfast sandwich on wheat.

The staff was friendly. Our order was quickly prepared and delivered. The food was the right temperature. My cortado was decent, but a little too dark. I suspect the beans had been roasted some time ago.

I look forward to a return visit. I want to try the red eye and London Fog tea. 4.5 ⭐’s.

I ordered on a day they were closed due to snow, I called and the manager was willing to refund me. However, I just had them make my order. The coffee was ready to go when I arrived and tasted amazing. I highly recommend the cold foam. I ordered cake batter and it was 11/10!!! Also, this is the only place I have ever found sugar free white chocolate!

We had pumpkin spice coffee and bora bora which was amazing and to have pumpkin spice off season is perfect! Loved the drinks!

I dont know if the drive up speaker has a problem or if the communication just sucks or what, but I was talked over at the drive-thru, corrected my own order 3 times (including when I paid bc it was still wrong) and then they were rude when handing off the drink, which was horrible–the espresso shots taste burnt.

Are there just a bunch of teenage girls with bad attitudes working here or something? Because consistently that is how it feels. This has happened a few times, today was the worst with the attitudes.

I started going here again (after a terrible experience years ago when they first opened) when I discovered that their cold brew was better than Grabajava’s, but that’s where the positive ended. Clearly.

At least Grabajava has nice employees. Moxo’s coffee is consistent and better, although Springfield generally has “nurse coffee,” and not good coffee. I will not be back to Hae’s.

Each time I go to Hayes something is missing or a mess.
This time when I opened the burrito I ordered it was so messy I couldn’t eat it in the car. The bag only had 2 napkins so there was no cleaning this mess up.
If my partner didn’t like their coffee we’d stop going all together.

Their bakers are creative geniuses ❤️ I had a peach dessert that was absolutely divine. I’m a big fan of their sweets menu. I highly recommend stopping in and checking them out. They have beautiful salads as well

The coffee was the perfect temperature. We got hot coffee, and it was nice and warm without being too hot. The burritos were good. The cinnamon roll was great.
The atmosphere is family-friendly and cozy.

I really wanted to support a local coffee shop, but unfortunately this experience was disappointing from start to finish.
When I placed my order, the barista did not listen and instead made a coffee combination of his own. When I pointed out that it wasn’t what I ordered, a young lady stated that it was “what the screen said,” seemingly to avoid further discussion. I took the drink anyway because I was already running late for work.
Once I started drinking it, the coffee was honestly terrible and undrinkable. I politely called Hae’s Coffee to explain the situation. The person I spoke with was kind and told me they would replace the drink if I came back. I explained that I was already on my way to work and couldn’t return that day. She said she would take my name so I could come back later for a replacement, which I appreciated.
I went back on New Year’s Eve, but they were closed. I returned again this morning and was told they have a same-day replacement policy, that my name was not on file, and that they could not replace the drink. At that point, there was nothing they were willing to do.
Between the lack of listening when taking my order and the inconsistent customer service afterward, this experience felt very similar to the issues I’ve had with large chains like Starbucks—which is disappointing because I truly want to support local businesses. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I won’t be returning

What a beautiful new coffee shop and bakery! I live within walking distance and have been watching Hae’s be built!

I decided to come in a week after they opened. It’s a beautiful building. There’s outside seating that looks onto the beautiful trees in Duncan Park.

Very tall ceilings in the main shop make it feel less crowded when packed with people.

I got the cold brew and it’s quite delicious. I probably won’t finish it only because I can tell it’s highly caffeinated. Which I know many people love!

I’ll review again once I try the food.
