Attended a 40th b-day party here and the food / service was great. Everyone was friendly – the staff managed our group of 30 people without issue and even helped cut and serve the cake. Good sized portions, rich food. I had the Chicken Parmigiana and a fresh dinner salad. Everyone enjoyed their meal.

The words that described the dishes were “rich” and “flavorful”. The veal picata – would suggest you ask for light pepper but tasty!
Crawfish Murphy was savory. Has jalapenos but easily avoided if you are shy.
Everything was good. We had appetizers and one dessert too.
The brick provides a warm feeling. The walls have nice colorful pictures.
We were seated right away on a Friday night. Server was excellent!
God spot for a casual date night or family dinner. Not too noisy and feels comfortable.
Parking is available on street beside restaurant or public lot across the street.

Walked in and loved to spacious seating area. It was empty when we went so that was a plus. We had the cheese sticks for an appetizer and they were very good and fresh. I ordered the pasta combo and it was perfect. Not all pasta is cooked equal. Really enjoyed my visit and the waitress who’s name I didn’t get was very nice.

We ran across this place on a drive across country. What a find! First, the decor is charming, with high brick walls and a cozy layout. Next, our server was fantastic: professional, personable, and attentive. Next, the martini could stand up anywhere. Finally, the food was delicious: a unique, slightly creamy red sauce with pasta and perfectly grilled shrimp on top. Highly recommended.

My wife and I love Luna Piena! It is definitely our preferred Italian restaurant in town, we like it much better than Geno’s or Olive Garden. Our favorite dish is the Linguine Genovese, but this time I got the Chicken Milanese and it was delicious as well!

The food is fantastic but the service is next level exceptional. Went in with my wife for date night and soon after we ordered she had a medical issue that required we leave right away. While I was getting her to the car, our waitress and there staff packed our orders to go and got us carry out drinks. We are the food later in the evening abd it was delicious. Can’t wait to go back and eat there. If you want traditional Italian with exceptional service, give them a go!

My wife and I have always wanted to try this place out ever since they opened. Today we had the chance and we do have to say that we definitely don’t regret it. The Italian food was delicious and the prices were pretty great as well! We have a good lunch for two and only ended up paying $22 which is very good. The layout of the restaurant is very nice and you are able outside over looking the downtown area which is very beautiful around Christmas time.
