Quintessential funky diner breakfast place, but also with legitimately good food. Bottomless Cafe Vita coffee. Attentive service. It’s not inexpensive but this is a West Seattle landmark and Seattle is pricey to eat out

Stopped in for a quick brunch heading home from Seattle.

Clean restaurant, friendly staff, service is very quick. They seem to be attentive to all tables and food was good.

Nothing amazing stood out, except the service was! As I mentioned before, attractive service.

The hashbrowns were crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, they do not pre-salt so taste first before adding. The bacon was a little bit fatter than I would prefer, but it’s bacon. The waffle was cooked well.

If you’re looking for a small quiet place to grab a bite to eat, this would be a good choice.

The place is really fun-looking with great decor, the staff is very attentive and the food seemed to be solid.
But the smell! The minute you walk in you can smell cleaning agents and wet cleaning rags. It was very hard to enjoy the food in the sitting area for this reason. The restrooms are even worse – it smells like someone poured straight cleaning agent everywhere before you, with a mix of chlorine in between. I tasted the cleaning agent in my mouth even after leaving the restaurant. The place needs a very good deep clean (preferably renovation in the restrooms) and without the heavy parfume to cover the smells.
I can only recommend it for a take out because of that, or at least just avoid the restroom all together.

This place is incredibly cute. Great diner vibe. On the pricy side as a standard breakfast will run you 70 bucks or so. But let’s blame this city’s inability to understand how taxing businesses impacts prices.

I have been to this restaurant many times over the last couple of years, and have recommended many people to it, but will no longer after a weird interaction with the main server or whatever he is. I got my order and the server said “come here for a second I want to show you something” then told me that I clicked “sub hashbrowns” when “there was nothing to substitute and that it didn’t make sense.” I told him I wasn’t sure, since that was my husbands order, and he cut me off and said “mm hmm well I’m just telling you, you paid $43 and with the hashbrowns it would be $47.” I said okay, we’ll pay..but he just kept going..

“I’m just telling you it doesn’t make sense” he said, then shows me his handheld ordering device and the prices of items. I was confused as to what this weird and rude interaction was for at that point, if not to just chastise me in front of other people (he was using dismissive and unprofessional mannerisms when talking to me loudly in front of other customers in the restaurant).

I told him we’d pay more no problem, and asked how long it would be, he said no that “the hashbrowns were already in the bag, he just wanted to show me what I did and why it didn’t make sense” I asked him if he’d ever seen the order options online as if he was a customer and he said no, I showed him that the option that was clicked, was the only option for adding hashbrowns. He proceeded to bring up the price again and once more tell me that “what was selected on the order didn’t make sense,” and said that “he had to show me to charge more because he had to explain to his manager at the end of the day, the items sold and the prices.” I said you should show your manager the online ordering, since that seemed to be the actual issue..and he said “okay I’m just telling you,” again, in a sassy/dismissive manner, then walked off and visibly continued talking about the situation with someone in the kitchen.

To top things off, quality of the food was subpar: the Benedict muffins were burnt, eggs were not cooked properly for a Benedict, and they did not include syrup for our waffles. Terrible, rude, service with what seemed like rushed food. I hope the manager does take the feedback and speaks with his staff about how to engage in customer relations more professionally.

This little kitschy cafe had breakfast and lunch options when we went. It looked crowded, but we got seated right away. The food was good. It wasn’t anything special though, and I don’t think it was meant to be. It was just a good solid place to eat. The portions were huge. Everyone I saw leaving had a to go container of leftovers. The decor was SO fun. We had a little mix up over some gluten free bread, but they took care of it quickly.

A little disappointed, my family got an order to go on 2/21. And the Mickey Mouse pancakes were not cooked all the way. The rest of the food was great but just sucks that I had to find different food for my kid

Really awesome place! I’m definitely going to come back. The food was amazing. I got a burger and fries, and a butterscotch milkshake. My friend got a chocolate shake.

They had a whole back section of the menu that’s vegan too!

In terms of parking, they have a small lot that does have a disabled parking spot. I don’t remember if there’s an unloading zone or if the spot is just closer to the entry.

Service was great too. Thanks for the great time.

The atmosphere was so cool in here. The food was delicious and the service was top notch. I loved that it had a working jukebox, such a fun thing!

Stopped at Luna Park Cafe on our way to catch a flight, and I’m so glad we did. The staff were super welcoming and totally handled us and our three luggage bags like pros. The food was fantastic — that biscuit alone is worth a stop. We also grabbed a mug and a bobblehead, which were really fun little keepsakes. The whole vibe was relaxed and friendly, and it felt like a spot locals would love. If you’re traveling through the area, it’s an easy, satisfying stop for breakfast, coffee, or just a quick treat. Would definitely come back just for the food and the great customer service — these folks make it easy to start your trip on a high note.
